I've seen pizza slices at Carmines that I've never seen anywhere else. This is not to say that it's the only place in NYC to sell Caesar Salad Slices, but it's the only one I know of.
Carmine's is great pizza, no matter what slice you choose (the mixed veggie slice is my favorite, but I'm always tempted by the sausage and pepperoni). There's also a full menu of Italian dishes - pasta, seafood, heroes, rolls and salads - and canolli to top it all off, and the plain slice still never fails to please.
Plenty of seating in the back for dinner, or up front with you slice, or take it to go. It's a popular spot and the delivery guys can only pedal so fast, so sometimes delivered food takes a while to arrive.
