Mission Cliffs 1/4/2006

Mission Cliffs is located on Harrison Street in San Francisco and it is a rock climbing facility as well as a workout gym area. If you go on weekdays before 3 pm, it is really cheap to climb but make sure you take a lesson on terms and processes because you will be tested before you're allowed to climb. It is a great workout and lots of fun too. more

I love wall climbing here. They have everything to get a great workout. The membership fee is not overpriced like similar gyms around. This is the best looking gym in San Francisco. The staff working there are friendly to get where your weight wants to be. I definitely recommend this place who wants to loose a few pounds and gain some muscle. more

Stuck Between A Rock and a Hard Place 8/17/2005

Mission Cliffs is a great place for someone to try indoor rock climbing for the first time. Day Passes (weekdays after 3 pm and weekends) are $18 and if you arrive before 3pm on weekdays, it's only $10. They have tons of walls and the staff is friendly and helpful. They'll rent you anything that you need. Bring your own sneakers so you can save a couple bucks and not have to rent. They give routes a "difficulty" rating, so you know what you're getting into. With your day pass, you have access to the free-weight room, aerobic machines, and sauna. more

Great for Beginners and Experts 8/15/2005

My friend is a member of Mission Cliffs Climbing & Fitness, and because his membership came with two guest passes a month for free, he decided to bring me along. I had a load of fun as I did wall-walling for the first in my life. The staff there were awesome - motivating and very friendly. I think it's a bit pricey, but that's probably only because I'm not used to paying for these types of activities. I recommend wall-climbing to anyone who is looking for a new type of activity to try, and if you are planning to go wall-climbing in the San Francisco Bay Area, I highly recommend Mission Cliffs Climbing & Fitness. more

Mission Cliffs Climbing & Fitness 8/14/2005

The work-out with the personal trainer at Mission Cliffs Climbing & Fitness was excellent. My trainer gave alot of good direction. I was tiring of my everyday routine and it was refreshing to learn a revolutionary groove that gave me the motivation and enthusiasm to reach my goals. I would recommend the staff of Mission Cliffs Climbing & Fitness to anyone who's serious about getting results under safe instructions. more

You'll have a great time 7/17/2005

I spent a day here, and it was one of the funnest days I've had in a while. The walls are really high, which is something I really enjoyed, and the staff is extremely helpful (I guess the have to be for safety's sake, but they're friendly too). Admission is only $10 if you arrive before 3PM, and equipment is only $6 ($3 if you have your own shoes). more
