This store has so-oooo much stuff. Great deals and great products. Bummer they are closed on Mondays though. I guess they need at least one day off. ;)
They cater to dogs and cats equally unlike a lot of stores in the city. Most pet stores seem to cater to dogs more so than cats...not B & B. Lots of cats stuff. Pretty inexpensive too. They have the best prices that I have seen thus far in the city.

This is the only store I go to for fish and aquarium supplies. They have the biggest collection of fish I've seen. You can find some really interesting fish, and the owner will be glad to make sure you know how to take care of them. Its also a great place to pick up supplies, as they have most everything you could need.

This place is ideal if your dog is only going to need a place to stay for a few days. It??s $40 a night, which seems like a lot at first, but it??s better than having your dog stay in a cage. There are play areas and beds made of towels for the dogs, and there is even music playing in the background all day. If I need to leave my dog for a day or two, I leave him here with no worries!
PROS: Great for a short time, attentive staff
CONS: A little pricey

A wonderfully supportive, caring, gentle, professional group of people...from the Doctor (Dr. Barchus) to all of the staff. Each and every person was kind, flexible, understanding, and gentle, so very gentle w/my animal, my very sick and soon to be dying animal. They allowed me to make decisions that were right for me and my animal. They took a tremendous amount of time patiently explaining, over and over to me, options, medications, and care. I can not say enough about them...a more gentle group of caring professionals, you will not find....many thanks to all of you at Balboa Pet Hospital...maz

This is a great place to take your pets for check-ups and shots. The vet and people at the front desk are really friendly. I take all my animals here. The prices are about the same as the other places but it's worth it for the service. Overall i give this place 5 stars.

Giving out a report card every visit is a good idea, but when impatience staff complain a six months old puppy running around too much and ask if the pup have proper training that was a little ridiculous. Also the improper time out make the pup hated the crate even at home. I would not recommend this place.

When I left my cat here, I knew he wouldn't miss us. The place has lots of cat furniture, treehouses, and other things to keep a cat entertained and feeling at home. When I went to pick up my cat, I could tell he didn't want to leave.
The staff also gets a vote of confidence.

every single time i have brought one of my cats into this place, i have left feeling like the vets really listened to me and really made sure i understood what they told me. the staff here is lighthearted and caring and their service is always honest and filled with compassion.
i have felt with other vets that, like human dentists, services can be recommended that aren't really necessary and are sometimes way out of my budget. This pet hospital has always offered affordable alternatives and explained cost-cutting ways to solve problems.
this is a wonderful place!
