This little store is tucked away on Brannan Street, but it has some really cool stuff. It carried a wide range of products (furniture, housewares, stationary, gifts, pet stuff) so it's hard to classify, but it's all very stylish. The proprietors are friendly and very helpful. There are lots stores that try to be hip/kitschy/retro, but Embellish offered some truly unique and interesting items that I had never seen before.

I never hired a moving company before. I checked online, read the reviews from many sites, (Berkeley Parents Network, Yelp, etc) North Star moving came highly recommended and it all turns out to be true.
My moving team lead by Guy Hacyma (foreman), Jose and Carlos. Showed up on time, in fact early. They got down to business right away, Guy explained the contract to me,very carefully. They asked questions about the important pieces of furniture, Everything was wrapped and padded. Its all went very smoothly. The unloading went smoothly as well, they couldn't have been more helpful or polite. I highly recommend them for your move.

I never would write a review on a Dry Fast service and restoration but they made my carpet and air duct so clean and only took them a few hours to do so that I got extremely impressed. They go out of their way to make sure everything in nicely clean. They even walked my dog. I love Dry Fast and will never use another company to service me. Thank you Dry Fast.

My large pantry at home really gets used because of the savings I get by buying in bulk. Or so I delude myself.
No really, need some office supplies? They have it! Need gardening do-dads, check too! My favorite is the automotive section. I really can't have enough shammies or oil for my car.
Cosctco competes with Sam's Club and Costco is far superior, hands down!

Two months ago I was visiting so many places in the Bay area and on line, since I was on a mission to find the right sectional for my living room. I got really tired of finding similar models in almost all the stores that I visited. Finally with the suggestion of a friend I went to Inyourelement, I didn?t know much about this place, and I must say that this showroom has very interesting modern furniture. Even if that was my first time in this place after about 40 minutes I decided for a cool versatile and functional sectional, I bit pricy but worthier. It helped that I had my living room dimensions, and the fact that I have been looking for a while so I knew I was looking for something special. Also while I was at Inyourelement I felt that I was helped by nice and knowledge personnel (thank you Alberto). To make the story short this weekend the sectional was delivered, and I?m so happy, the sectional looks beautiful in my space, the delivery was on time. Wow Thank you guys. I will definitely recommend your store to my friends.

I looked all around for the right sectional for my new house and all the ones that came close to what I was looking for were very expensive. At the Customs House I was able to basically creat the exact sectional I wanted and choose from hundreds of fabrics. The price can't be beat and the sectional is great! The owner, Brad, was very nice. My sectional was finished about 3 weeks after I had ordered it and since I hadn't moved in to my new house yet, he was able to store it for me for an additional month and a half. When I finally did move, the movers showed up promptly at the time they had specified. I would recommend the Customs House to anyone looking for a new sofa or sectional.

We purchased our futon at the Futon Shop on Cesar Chavez when they had a sale going on. With a big sale, we ended up spending more then $700 on a simple but sort of elegant futon. I am sure we could have gotten a couch for the same amount of money.
As much as we like the futon, Futon Shop is NOT a burgain place. So, if you think buying a futon will save you money - think again!
