This is a great source for Christian radio programs in the Bay Area. Here's your connection to Focus on the Family, New Life Live, Jay Sekulow Live, Living on the Edge, Insight for Living, and Money Matters. For kids, the Adventures in Odyssey and Paws & Tales programs are terrific and remind me of the days my little brother and I used to hang out in pj's listening to Radio Mystery Theater. When you're tired of garbage shock radio, get your grounding and traditional values here. On Saturdays at 3pm, I think, they do the Top 20 Christian Music Countdown, which is absolutely terrific! Since it is really difficult to get a Christian music station here, I only wish more of those great tunes could be fit into KALW's schedule. !

Ghirardelli Square is a popular tourist attraction located north of Fisherman’s Warf. It is a restored factory of the once upon a time Ghirardelli Factory. I think overall Ghirardelli square is a bit of a disappointment. Filled with little shops that are not much different from what you could find in your local mall. My wife and I came half expecting to see a historic factory instead we found a little strip mall.
The one good thing about Ghirardelli square is the ice cream shop that is one thing defiantly worth a stop but the rest of the square is probably not worth your while.

The Roxie is a wonderful hipster scene in the middle of the fabulous Mission District. They have some of the best offerings of independent and local films. I've seen a number of my recent favorites at the Roxie. Many of their films are vying for distribution. This is a great way to support low-budget noncommercial cinema. And the fresh popcorn is delicious too!

More
The Metreon is tops for movies. It has the most comfortable seats, biggest screens, and best sound system of any movie theatre in San Francisco. It offers a variety of movies, from the biggest blockbusters to smaller films. It can get crowded, but with so many screens you'll always have a movie to watch. And it's extremely convenient to get tickets, since it has several ticketing machines, some of the first floor next to the regular ticket line, and a few machines on the 3rd floor where the theatre is. This is a great convenience. As an added plus, the Metreon Complex has Starbucks, Chronicles Books, shops, and a few restaurants, so you can hang out before or after a movie. Centrally located and state of the art, it's the best movie house in town.

What a better combination than to have art of roman architecture and science in one palace. The Palace held the artwork for the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition. Now the last remaining structure, it houses multiple experiments glorifying science phenomenons.
The Palace is a wonderful place to photograph. Set in overgrown landscaping and a pond housing wildlife, it is a natural backdrop for scenes in movies, like 'The Rock'. The terracotta columns contrasts very well against the blue sky (day or night). The artisans that built the originals were flown in from Europe. Beautiful, you have to see it and feel it for yourself.

I love this store because there's tons of stuff you can listen to. They have lots of different types of genre for everybody. I especially love how you can scan a cd and listen to it just like that! I've never seen any other music store do that. The place to great when you have nothing to do.

Golden Gate Park is not only beautiful, but it's got tons of amenities. There is the herd of buffalo (believe it or not!), Stowe Lake where you can rent paddle boats and row boats, the museums (De Young, Asian Art, Academy of Sciences when it is remodeled), the Japanese Garden, the botanical garden, so many kids playgrounds, soccer fields, the Tulip Garden, the windmills, the Beach Chalet, Children's Playground (they say this is the oldest something -- you'll have to read the sign yourself!) and my favorite, the Shakespeare Garden where I got engaged!
