Michael Berry is absolutely wrong and I like Mr. Berry 3/4/2012

Dear Michael, Many of us listen to your show(s) and find you as a credible personality when you make recommendations. On this basis I believe you should be aware of the practices of Oops Steam Cleaners. They are not at all what you represent them to be. They try to up sell the entire time you talk with them. The $99.00 (now ($139) special does not include much of anything. After I agreed to $247.00 to clean 3 rugs they tried to charge almost $400.00 when they finished. I refused to pay. After they cleaned the rugs they rolled up two of them. I was there when my wife asked if this was going to damage the rugs and they said they were dry and not a problem. Last week my wife had an appraiser out to look at the rugs and they were ruined. We called the company and the owner came out to look at the rugs. In that meeting I was not there but talked to him over the phone. I explained to him what had happened and he called me a lair. I explained to him we questioned rolling them up and he said his people know better. I then said if we did request it why did they not mention it would be a bad idea to roll them up?they are the professionals. (We did not make the request to roll them up and in fact has made space available for them to dry.) After the liar comment I told him to get out of my house. I have lived in four Texas cities and Manhattan. I have had rugs cleaned in all of these cities and at no time have I ever been as hustled as I was by Oops. It is my recommendation you drop your personal recommendation as I believe it will undermine your own credibility to your listeners. In summary: The base service means they show up. They are not on time. They up sell constantly. Once a price is agreed on they try to charge more. They rolled up a wet rug stating it was dry and not a problem. They lied to us. They called me the customer a liar. These are not the kind of people you want to recommend to go into the homes of your listeners. more

Job well done 2/27/2012

I had Oops do some pet stained carpeting two weeks ago. First , Chris was a hard -working friendly young man who did the work. He was informative about carpet care and gave no hard sell for extras. The pricing was very fair and the results were very good. I' ll have them back to do my cermic tile . HIGHLY RECOMMEND. more

Michael Berry is RIGHT 2/20/2012

First of all I must say that I am a proud American who is a devoted listener to Michael Berry. Obviously I have a good amount of respect for the man and thus I trust what he has to say...which has led me here. Although carpet cleaning can be considered something ""minor"" it shouldn't be treated as such when you think about the fact you are inviting a complete stranger into your home. My wife and I are cautious about just who cnmes through our front door - and I can safely say that Mr Berry's recommendation of the gentlemen at Oops Steam Cleaning is right on. A young man named Doug came by our home today and was a perfect representative of a strong American-owned company. He provided awesome service and was extremely knowledgable and professional. Yes, this is the kind of man you can invite into your home and not think twice about it. I am not surprised by Mr Berry's endorsements - like I said, right on the money. Thank you Doug and Oops for a job well done. God Bless. more

Clean Carpet!! 2/12/2012

First time I have used Oops but definately won't be the last! Young man by the name of Chris called to let me know he was on the way. Very professional & knowledgeable about his company & their products. I had a couple of spots that I melted with an iron and he went out of his way to fix this area. Carpets looked & smelled amazing when he was finished!! The carpet dried in a mininum amount of time and as I am writing this the next day the nice clean smell is still there! I have tried several different carpet cleaning companies over the years but Oops is by far the best! I will definately use them for my next cleaning!! more

Spring cleaning time 2/4/2012

This will be the second time I've had Doug out at my home and the second time I am very happy with the results. Doug was on time and got started with a smile on my rugs and tile. My floors aren't as perfect as I like them to be with my abundant furry friends going all over it is hard to keep up. My spring cleaning is now in high gear. White carpet looks like new 1/20/2012

My white carpet is 20 years old and with a 4 year old great grandson running around (and drinking his chocolate milk wherever I let him, which is wherever he pleases!) had collected a couple of stubborn spots. Last week we decided to try OOPS, and I am telling you they did a phenomenal job...carpet looks virtually new! The only complaint I could possibly have is that I think they had overbooked for the day and might not have made it in the timeframe they gave me had we not called. For this kind of results, I can live with that! more

Josh was right on time as scheduled, cleaned the carpet beautifully, and was very helpful with advise on maintaining the carpet. I highly recommend Oops. They are everything Michael Berry said they would be. Ask for Josh. more

A word or 2 about Oops 12/14/2011

I had my first experience with this company after hearing Michael Berry speak about them in a 950 advertisment. I called and scheduled the visit almost a week in advance. This past Tuesday their representitive, a young man named Chris, called me about 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. When Chris came to my home he was very professional and explained the estimate and what additional products that were available. Although our home is only 6 years old our carpets had some very deep and ugly pet stains. Chris explained each step of the cleaning process and what results we could expect. He assisted me with several large items that my wife couldn't help me with and cheerfully cleaned my carpet n what I thought was record time. The results are nothing short of amazing and we are extremely satisfied with the cleaning. I must add that Chris was very knowledgable of the chemicals and the steam process for cleaning while taking the time to point out how I should service my carpets in the future. I don't know what experience others had but Chris made our experience worth awarding 5 stars.... more

Poor Customer Service 11/12/2011

I guess one star is the lowest I can rate them. I have used Oops in the past (it's been awhile) and was okay with the results. They were pricey but the house smelled fresh when they left and the individuals who came to do the work were professional. Today I called for a quote and an individual named Wade answered the phone. He later identified himself as the manager. It was a short and unpleasant conversation that ended with him hanging up on me after first raising his voice. All this was unprovoked. How shocking is that?! Poor customer service obviously. A follow up phone call that I made did not result in a new person answering the phone or an apology as I hoped. I will not be using them again. more

Best Carpet Cleaning Ever 11/9/2011

If you need your carpets cleaned call Josh at Oops Steam Cleaning. I heard about them on the radio and liked that they were a local company so I thought I would give them a try. The staff on the phone was prompt, polite and willing to work to my schedule. They called 30 min prior to arriving like they promised. Josh was a very nice, personable guy who I felt perfectly comfortable inviting into my home even though I was home alone. He listened to my needs and didn't try to up sell which I find very annoying. The carpets look brand new even though they are over 3 years old and have a toddler and a cat running around them all day every day. He took special care with he high traffic areas and spots and now you can't even tell the carpet has been walked on let alone lived on for 3 years. I can not say enough about how wonderful the carpets look. I will never use anyone else, Oops Steam Cleaning is my carpet cleaning company for life! more

I recently used Oops to have my carpet cleaned. The tech Josh was very personable. He did a great job . Actually, I agree with the the reviewer below me he is awesome. You can tell he takes pride in a job well done. My carpet looks amazing! I was really shocked with the result, it looks that good. Honestly, it looks new again. I will always use Oops from now on and will not hesitate to refer family and friends . more

I had the sheer pleasure of having Josh form OOPS steam cleaning come to my home this morning. Josh represents something you rarely see anymore...great customer service! He was on time, professional, knowledgable, and just a nice guy! My white carpets (circa 1997) look brand new!!! They did a great job 10/25/2011

We have older (almost 15 year old) berber carpet. We have had the competitors out here before numerous times. After reading online that actual steam cleaning (not hot water) is the best way to go, I tracked down Oops, and decided to use them. While it was expensive (due to extensive staining), they did an absolutely tremendous job. I am doing thin review about 5 weeks after the cleaning was done, and it still looks great. Previous carpet cleaners left the carpet looking terrible just a couple of days after the cleaning. I will definitely use them again. The only reason I took away one star was becuase they were expensive, but the work they did was excellent. more

House Proud Once More 9/27/2011

First let me say that Michael Berry is the greatest...but this review is not about him. I do have him to thank however for letting me know about this wonderful company. I had the Oops guys out today and they have made me proud of my house once more. My carpet and tile was not to my liking, and with 30+ family members coming to me for the holidays I wanted to wow them. Now it will happen! Doug and Navor are two of the hardest working young men I have ever encountered, and truly deserve the great reviews I see here. Best Referral Ever! 9/2/2011

A good friend referred me to Oops Steam Cleaning and I am sooo glad she did! I have had not the best luck with previous carpet cleaning companies so when my friend was so adamant about this one I figured I had nothing to lose. I am beyond pleased with the work of the two very pleasant and professional young men that came to my home today - Doug and Navor did a wonderful job and I now shall be the one to ""pay it forward"" and refer some of my other friends and acquaintances. NOT Worth it. Will not remove Pet Urine stains 8/23/2011

Employees were really nice however I was not happy with result I was thinking they would remove stain from sofa. The only thing that was a plus is that got rid of the urine smell. more

Doug saved the day! 8/23/2011

This is the second time I have had the Oops team out and the secnd time I have been thoroughly pleased, so I must share. Doug is absolutely great - it is an absolute pleasure to have him in my home. What a great job!! I admit it can be a little unnerving to have a stranger/s in your home, and in this day and age you can't be too careful. It is so wonderful to have such a pleasant, professional and trustworthy young man - and then to have your carpet look brand new!! Amazing and I highly recommend. more

Excellent 8/5/2011

Oops arrived a half hour early and was completely done with the urine treatment and steam cleaning within 30 minutes! The two guys that came over were both very nice and helpful. As for the bad reviews about the hoses ruining furniture, I say, move your furniture before hand. Oops will very kindly move the furniture for you, but if you're picky, you might want to do it yourself. They also clearly explain that if you move wooden furniture back to the wet carpet, it might stain. I would definitely recommend Oops to anyone who needs carpet cleaning. They might not be the cheapest, but they are certainly the best! $230 +tax for urine treatment and steam cleaning for about 600 sq feet of carpet. more
