I called Oops to come out several weeks ago because if Michael Berry says they are good, I trust they are good. They cleaned about 2,000 sq ft of carpet in 1 1/2 hours. I was qu...

OVERPRICED! $360 for 3 average rooms and stairs. I was given an estimate of $200 over the phone. The tech was relentless with his hard up sale for a treatment for stains. When I declined, his response was the owner would not want them to do the job if they could not do it right. If I had not had a party scheduled the next day I would have sent them on their way and found another company. To top it off the tech used a broken sprayer to dribble some stain prevention treatment. I do not believe their is anything special or technical about carpet cleaning. Hot water and good suction. Anything else is pure hype. I have had good luck with the companies Michael Berry endorses. Not this time. more

I used Oops before they got really big and they did a wonderful job. I recommended them to others. However, I just had them at my house this morning in my new house, a little bigger carpet area and was quoted $550. That is beyond crazy! I will not pay that much for carpet cleaning when I am sure they are not the only ones in the city of Houston that can get the job done. I think all the customers they have received from Michael Berry has gotten to their head. I called my friend I just recommended them to, to hold off lets see what the other people I called can do for my carpets. more

I definitely had to write a review for these guys. I had set up an appt. with a different company previously who didn't show, so I called Oops. The lady on the phone was extremely nice, professional, and was able to schedule me right away. \r Overall, the technicians did an amazing job. I have two dogs who had done some serious damage to the carpets and couch and they were able to get everything out! They were extremely friendly, good price, and did the best carpet cleaning job I've ever seen. I've had other carpet cleaners before who could not get the stains out, but not these guys, they knew exactly what they were doing. Also, they took the time for gave me some tips about my carpets and upholstery. They take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. I highly recommend them! more

My carpets and stairs were in bad shape. I have gotten them clean by another company but did not do a good job. I wanted to Oops for doing such a great job on the stairs, living room and hallway. You could tell a significant difference between the before and after. I was really impressed with their promptness got here early and got the job done. So thanks again Oops. Would definitely recommend. more

Great service! The woman on the phone was very helpful. Once the two guys arrived, they were very courteous, efficient, and they finished the job in an hour. But even more important, my carpets looked brand new; even the few stains were completely gone. I'm definitely going to be using them at least once a year to keep everything fresh and clean. more

These guys are wonderful! I called to make an appointment to clean my carpets and then I knew what to do with two antique chairs that desperately needed attention. They arrived on time at my house. Their pricing was not only fair, but with some of the extras included, far better than other cleaners I sought out.\r I would highly recommend Oops to anyone looking for competent trustworthy people.\r Many Thanks! more

I recently had friends with a dog and a baby stay with me and the end result was a filthy couch. We called Oops, I got someone on the phone immediately. They scheduled a prompt appointment over the phone and they were friendly, accommodating and professional. On the day of the appointment, their representatives showed up on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Overall the experience was great, and most importantly, our couch looks amazing. more

This company absolutely deserves the highest rating - right down to their customer service, level of detail, and staff/technicians. They were incredibly pleasant on the phone, able to answer all questions, and I was able to easily schedule an appointment. My original appointment had to be rescheduled due to a conflict and I was quickly called to be notified of this and rescheduled. On the day of the appointment, the receptionist called to see if the Technician could come earlier than expected which was no problem. Once onsite, the Technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I found their service and level of communication to be great. We will definitely be using their services again and we highly recommend them. more

Scheduling was easy and the technicians were punctual. They did an outstanding job of cleaning my daughter's apartment carpet. This is a light beige carpet that shows everything. She does have a little dog that had some accidents and all traces of these accidents are gone thanks to Oops Steam Cleaning.\r Their prices are very very reasonable. We will definitely use them again. more

Oops Steam Cleaning is great! We have used this service twice and both times they have done an excellent job. They are quick too - only took about an hour to clean our 900 square foot condo! The results are fabulous - crisp, clean carpets that look brand new! more

OOps was really great!\r They were so flexible, working with my difficult schedule. They found time to clean my carpets within 2 days notice. The price they gave me was cheaper than any other deal out there.\r \r My carpets are super clean, smell good and I feel good knowing that they used green materials and not harsh detergents.\r \r Overall I'm super happy with Oops and will use them every time for my carpets.\r \r Thank you Oops Steam Cleaningl!!! more

Horrible experience! Wouldn't even clean behind my doors, and all along the edges were ignored. They are so over priced it's ridiculous! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/1/2015

OK cleaning job, but expensive - some of the cleaning solution solidified and caked up on the bottom of the stairs. They fixed this when they came out the second time to re-repair poorly done seams in two places. Never let them try and repair seams in looped/berber carpet. Carpet is clean but now looks worse than before they came out due to the ragged seam repairs. I didn't read any reviews prior to hiring OOPS but just listened to Berry's radio show recommendation - I won't use them again. more

Used Oops a couple months ago, never again. Two days to dry, stains that weren't there previously and the carpets look worse than ever. Paid for Scotchguard and not sure it was even done Disappointed to say the least. I guess being on the radio doesn't substantiate the work. more

Oops advertises with the best Michael Berry. \r \r Michael needs to review their operation. I have difficulty with their pricing. They are exorbitant. I called Oops because of the advertisement on The Michael Berry Show. Doug did show up on time and got right to work. Throw out the specials and comeons and got right down to business. Gave me a price of $624 and man I thought that was steep to later find out it was. They price by rooms and articles. There was no furniture moved so really there was only paths around beds and furniture. (That's called a room) In my living room there was a rug over the carpet. He charged me for the room and then extra for the rug. Did not clean under the rug. Cleaned a sofa took 5 minutes $100 another rug about the same price. The dog spots are still there. If you had an empty house with no furniture and they charged by the room there might be some justification but not for 2 hours work and still have the relative same problem as before you started. To say the least I'm not so upset by the price (but for what I got for the price). While the attempt was made the reason I called them was not completed. In no way would I recommend them nor use them again. Close to $700 for just a tad over 2 hours work is excessive. Maybe I was in the wrong business. Sorry Michael because of this I will questions any of your advertisers that I would want to use in the future. On another note I really enjoy the Michael Berry Show just not Oops Steem Cleaning more

This is a copy of the email I sent to OOPS this morning! My saga is ongoing and it won't go unresolved. I'll let you know the outcome....I can't figure out how to add pictures to this post or I'd show you the mess they left behind as proof....\r \r Attached to this email you will find several pictures that show the lack of workmanship I received when two of your technicians came to my home to stretch and clean two rooms and a hallway on Oct 26, 2013. I made my appointment many weeks in advance for a Saturday morning because I didn’t want to miss any work. When I made the appointment, I specifically told the operator that we installed new cabinetry so tack strip would be needed along one wall. I was told that was not a problem. \r \r When the two technicians arrived I was quoted a price of 422.00 and they got to work, I pay them, and tipped them 20.00 each. Before they left I made the huge mistake of just lightly glancing into each room because the carpet was wet. I trusted that by using a reputable company, that advertised as often as Oops Steam Cleaning does on 740 AM radio, I’d get a good finished product. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only did they not bring tack strip, or run to get some, they didn’t re-attach the carpets properly, didn’t stretch it enough to remove buckles, they cut more than they should have which left concrete exposed in many areas. The carpet doesn’t even touch the baseboards in areas all around one of the rooms anymore. Then to top it off they throw the discarded carpet and padding into a guest bathroom, instead of taking it away.\r \r That wasn’t the end of this nightmare. I called the office, obviously very distressed, and told the operator about the horrible mess they left. She told me I would get a call from the Route Manager or that she would personally call me back. No call ever came. Three hours later, I call AGAIN and do finally get a call back from the Route Manager. I am told he is on vacation and it would be Tuesday before they could send someone out. Obviously upset, I explained it would mean a loss of work for me. He told me he’d try to locate someone to come out. A few minutes later he calls me again and said he was able to find another technician to come out that day. The problem is that he didn’t tell him to bring tack strip! This third technician comes out and actually did a decent job of re-attaching my carpet in one room so I could at least put it back together again. He glued and patched the gaping hole at the entry to the bathroom (there is still a visible seam however) and he says that the next people that come out will bring the tack strip and finish stretching the room and hallway. \r \r I still see areas that the carpet no longer touches the baseboard, lose carpet is still buckled in the hallway, the seam to the bathroom is noticeable, the carpet lifts at the edged when I vacuum, and of course a full wall is still left without tack strip, but best of all I STILL have to take time off work to get this job done. \r \r .....I'll let you know after they come for the third time if the outcome is good or bad. I'm praying for the best. But after the TOTAL lack of communication on their part thus far, I'm not holding my breath. more

Doug and oops and helper (I forgot your name Im sorry!!!) are awesome. They literally just left and I am floored (ha ha!) - my carpet was I thought ruined thanks to my little baby (dog) and had more stains than I could even see. But Doug got everything clean and fresh and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. more

We had OOps come out few days ago and are very pleased. The young man, Doug, and his helper, not sure of his name, but he was quiet, but anyway, they were amazing. Normally I am not one to write a reveiw, but today, after my super critical family members ;) commented on the fresh carpet I just had to. I would recommend Oops to one and all, without hesitation. Thanks Doug and oops.\r more

Our carpets were cleaned four days ago by Oops! We won't be using Oops! again. For starters, it took an undue amount of time for the carpets to dry -- more than 24 hours. Calls to a company supervisor were not returned until Saturday afternoon. We were told that the carpets should have been raked and the supervisor offered to come and rake them Monday morning. By then, of course, the carpets had dried.\r \r Secondly, a large stain in a prominent place wasn't removed by the cleaning process. I was remiss in failing to notice it until after the technician had left. Fortunately, my wife was able to remove it with vinegar.\r \r In addition, I felt we were overcharged: One large area (the equivalent of two 250 sq. ft. rooms) and one bedroom were cleaned, but we were charged for two bedrooms. Upon calling this to the attention of the Oops! supervisor he dismissed my grievance, contending that our large area included one of the two ""bedrooms."" \r \r Finally, I was disappointed in the ""spin"" by Oops! personnel: It seemed there was a greater emphasis on providing excuses rather than in pleasing a customer. It was almost as if they weren't interested in repeat business. more

Couldn't be happier. We called Oops and got an appt for the next day. They sent manly man to come and make our place squeaky clean and fresh. Doug was fast, professional and explained everything .. no bait and switch here. I must also say that he was very ""alternative lifestyle"" friendly and we really appreciate that. Dont' hesitate to call Oops they will make your day. Ask for Doug. more
