Review content:
Because of my job and my hobbies (E-bay anyone?) I'm a big customer of USPS, UPS, and occasionally FedEx. I've used post offices and UPS's all over the eastern seaboard, Oregon state, and the bay area. And this location is the inexcusably slowest I've ever been to.\r \r Whenever I go, whatever the time may be, there is always a very long line. I'm used to lines, but what I'm not used to is the inexplicably slow service I always encounter here. \r \r I think the Saratoga branch is still stuck in some 1950s 'little town on the prairie' era when this area was really in the middle of nowhere. It just cannot keep up with the times or the obvious population boom.\r \r I could tolerate this before because it was so close to home and the people who worked there were generally friendly and as efficient as they could be. They were quite helpful.\r \r But NOW -- the usual friendly and professional employees I've come to know seem to have been replaced by sub-par newbies. One employee was obviously very flustered and frazzled and kept on walking to the back of the post office while customers were waiting at her counter in order to yell at other employees. The woman who was helping me didn't understand my questions and kept on talking over me disparagingly in a self-important manner and she made faces. Really off-putting. She didn't seem to have any basic customer service training and another employee had to help her.\r \r There was only ONE counter open even with 8-9 people waiting in line. After waiting 10 minutes another frustrated customer had to ask for a window to open. It took me 35 minutes to mail 2 packages. There was a male employee who tried to speed up the process, but he inexplicably skipped 5 people in line and randomly helped a guy behind me, even though I also had packages to mail.\r \r I'm going to totally avoid this place and go to another post office that knows what they are doing. \r \r I'm disappointed this post office is so showing its backwater colors. Pros: Close if you live in Saratoga Cons: Everything else -- SLOW, LONG WAIT, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
