I went to this cafe on New Year's eve since it was one of the only places still open in the village. Service was below average. The place was not too busy and it took way too long for our drinks, which were only coffee, to be brought out. Crepes were a bit rubbery, but tasted ok. At the end of our meal we asked for the check several times, but were never brought it. After asking again they finally told us that we had to pay separately at the counter.

My friend got hurt and had to go to the emergency room in Mercy Medical Center. She waited 2 hours before the doctor even looked at her. It would be one thing if the hospital was busy, but there were no more than 4 other patients in the emergency room. This is considered a light load in terms of emergency rooms. After after x-rays were taken we waited another hour for the doctor to give his diagnosis. The staff in the hospital were not friendly at all. They told my friend that they didn't believe her when she described some of her symptoms. She had a minor cut on her leg that was bleeding, but not gushing blood. The doctor did not clean it or put any bandages on it. She asked the doctor to clean it up. After and hour she asked a nurse to clean it up. The nurse gave her some alcolol wipes and one band-aid that was not large enough to cover the cut. She ended up cleaning and bandaging the wound herself. The whole ordeal took 5 hours. Avoid this hosiptal at all costs.

On the outside of this combination Dunkin' Donuts / Baskin Robins store there was a neon sign that said "open 24 hours." From how the sign was positioned and colored I thought it ment that both sections of the store were open for 24 hours. I went into the store around 10:30pm and told the worker that I wanted a scoop of cherry jubilee. The worker said that the ice cream section of this store is closed. The worker just closed the freezer door as he said this. So I just walked out, disappointed since I was not in the mood for coffee. There was no point in arguing with the worker since he's the one who will serve me the ice cream and who knows what he will do with it if I makw him serve me. Plus it was late and I just wanted a treat before driving home. The sign outside should say "Only Dunkin Donuts is open 24 hours" so people can go elsewhere to get a late night ice cream snack.

Toy cars, bikes, video games, dolls, action figures, Legos, stuffed animals, and even a Ferris wheel that you can ride on are all in this store. I like the build your stuffed animal area the most since it is relatively inexpensive. The accessories for the animals go on sale from time to time. One time I got an outfit for $2. The prices on other items in the store are low to average.

Steve & Barry’s sells all articles of clothing for $7.98. They even sell jackets and jeans and pants that would sell for more than double that price at other places. The quality of the clothing is good. I bought a few items there a few months ago and they are still intact. They majority of items sold there have school logos on it, but they also sell items with out school logos as well. This includes t-shirts with funny sayings on them, dress shirts, blouses, slacks, accessories.

The Museum of Sex only has two floors, which is not worth the admission price. However, the museum was still interesting. In the beginning of the museum there are works of art done by modern artists. The next section changes and is reserved for the special exhibit. At the time I went the special exhibit was sex in Asia. It was a very thorough exhibit. It used historical sources to tell how sex was regarded and introduced to teens in each time period up to the present in different sections of Asia. The gift store sells items with the MoSEX logo on them, books and more.

Universal Studios Islands of Adventure is a great place to go for riding roller coasters. The Hulk roller coaster begins by accelerating you through a mist. The ride is fast, but lasts long enough for you to have a good time. The Dueling Dragons unique since it is two coasters in one. You can choose to ride the blue or red dragon. Both coasters intertwine to create the illusion that you are going to collide with the other coaster. I like the red one better since it has more corkscrews. Food there is decently priced. At one of the restaurants the cornbread had kernels of corn in it. It was delicious. The park had a free service where you can get an assigned time to come and skip to the front of the line.
