this is a great mall located the west of boston. it has a bunch of department stores as well as chain stores like the gap, banana republic, Coach, and abercrombie. the department stores are macy's, lord and taylor, and sear's. there is only one "real" restaurant which is california pizza kitchen, besides Friendly's and the food court. there are some renovations going on so soon there will be a barney's and Nordstrom! i'm excited. the natick mall will soon be so much better than now.

this is a great mall that is updated with lord and taylor, macy's, cheesecake factory, coach, banana republic, and so much more. i just went there this weekend, and the easter bunny was there taking pictures with children. this mall is clean and brightly lit. it is packed on the weekends with teenagers, families, and couples. this mall has a great variety of stores for shopping, not window shopping!

Fugakyu is a really really nice Japanese restaurant where you get the authentic feeling. The restaurant is clean and the servers are very nice and hospitibal. The food is delicious too. It is reasonably priced with rice plates, noodle dishes, noodle soups, sushi, and japanese sake and other drinks. I always have bhad great experiences when coming to Fugakyu. The food is fresh and nicely presented. I highly recommend Fugakyu in Brookline. Although other people may recommend other Japanese restaurants in the area with better sushi per se, the atmosphere at this restaurant is unbeatable.

Ming Kee is the only Chinese owned fresh poultry store in Chinatown. They sell fresh chicken and duck to customers at a good price. There is often a line on the weekends because it is tradition for Chinese people to make soup or cook fresh chicken on the weekends. The workers are hard working, and my family always buys fresh chicken from this place. The chicken are delivered daily from a farm so we know the chicken are fresh and kept in good condition.

Quality Cafe serves Hong Kong styled dishes that are plenty in portion and very affordable. They have a wide variety of fried noodles and rices, along with breakfast specials (spam and eggs with coffee, or club sandwich with coffee, or french toast with tea). They also have really good shakes and hot/cold drinks. They are open very late, so after clubbing or a show, you can expect a crowd at this place. The service is not good at all though and there is a $5 minimum per person, so you cannot just order a shake and drink it there. That, I don't call good service.

for some reason, whenever i think of california pizza kitchen, i get really excited. i have some great memories of going here for dinner with friends. they have some awesome combinations for pizza such as thai chicken pizza, but their classics are sooo delicious too such as bbq chicken or pepperoni pizza. their noodle dishes are great, they are huge portions of pasta with unique crazy toppings that are surprisingly really tasty! they have a kids menu which is a good deal that comes with a drink and dessert. you'll always want to try something new when you come here. plus, when you're at the mall, this beats the food court.

i like coming to this star market because it is quiet. quiet is not necessarily a bad thing, especially when you have a cart and a list of things to buy. they have a flier with the things on sale, and they have good prices. the produce section is great ebcause now they are starting to sell organic fruit and vegetables at a low price. their deli has a wide selection of meats too. the cashiers are usually high school teenagers, but they are fast and efficient. i come to this market often.

asian garden is another one of my favorite restaurants in chinatown. it may be a cramped restaurant (only when it's busy), but i have been to a few occasions here when i am in a party of 8-10 people. they have three large tables. the value of this restaurant is great especially because they have good quality food. the portions are huge too. the rice dishes, seafood dishes, poultry dishes are made fresh to order with great aroma. i also do take out here sometimes, and you can be sure to get a few meals out of a buck. this is one of the few restaurants i recommend in chinatown.

if you're in chinatown, why don't you get chinese food? oh well, if you want japanese food, ginza is a well known japanese restaurant with a few locations (others in boston, brookline). the waitresses wear awesome kimonos and those cute japanese sandal shoes. it sets the atmosphere to be like you're in japan. the food is good too, but kinda pricey (because you're in chinatown). the sushi is fresh and the rice plates are portioned so you won't have any left overs.

Panda East is a chinese restaurant located in the middle of amherst center. i personally don't like the wait staff at all, but the food is decent. i mean, we're in western mass. do you really expect good chinese food? jk. i guess i'd say that panda east is probably the best chinese food in the area though, compared to the other restaurants. they have lunch specials which come with soup and appetizers which is a great deal because the entree portion is a nice big size. i usualyl get the tofu or chicken with vegetables in ginger and scallion with garlic sauce. it's tasty. however, i wouldn't come here for dinner because the dishes can be pricey, especially for their quality of food.
