I've been going to Last Concert since the 70s and loved it then but it got even better when Dawn took over! The food is consistently wonderful the service is consistently friendly and efficient and WHOA, where else can you go to see such a cross-section of people!!!! Then there's the music...and the Watermelon Festival...and the margaritas!!
Congratulations to Dawn for making the place what it is!!!!
Pros: fantastic soup, service and scenery (people watching)

Pretty campus. New buildings going up on a regular basis. Great music, architecture, engineering, pharmacy, law, optometry schools. Just to name a few. Yes the campus is in a not so desirable area of Houston, but there are a lot of college campuses with this problem.

The Downtown Aquarium is a wonderful family destination. It includes an outdoor amusement park complete with a carousel and ferris wheel. A train circles the area and goes through a tunnel made of acrylic that separates you from over 20 sharks! If you have little ones, make sure to take their swim suits so that they can cool off in the "dancing" water fountains. Inside there is a very wide variety of fish in over half a million gallons of water! At the end of the aquarium exhibit is an exhibit with four white tigers. There are a very limited number of these tigers alive in the world, so this is a truly unique experience. Because there are many things to do indoors, this is a great destination for families with small children. . .a great way to escape the Texas heat!

my friend goes here and took me on a tour of it. i also went to his graduation. you can major in just about anything. classes go day and evening so that you are able to work and go to school. the sports teams are also top notch. i have been to some of the owls games. the students really get behind the teams and cheer them on. also it is in a good location.

I love seeing the Chippendales when they come since it always makes me feel good. My favorite skits are Cowboy and Hero! The guys are so sweet and so easy on the eyes. Ladies you can't miss them when they come to the Laff Spot!

This school seems to be degrading in my opinion. I used to think it was a nice school, but now it looks kind of run down. I think the area around it may be going downhill. However, I'm sure there are still some really great teachers there. They have some programs in place for new students that I think can be really helpful.
