I love visiting Paper Source just to walk through the store and browse. They have great products from paper to invitations to stamps to just about anything you can think of. If I had an unlimited supply of money, I would go there much more often with the intent of buying. Unfortunately, that is Paper Source's only downfall: their price. If you are a wise shopper, you can keep costs down, but beware of becoming overwhelmed by their abundance of amazingly girly products! It's easy to spend a bundle on only a few things. As an added bonus, the employees are very nice and helpful. Hail to all things crafty!

Once you've gotten past Commonwealth Ave on Harvard St and you start hearing the hebrew, you know you've reached the Jew-zone. Aside from the many delicious kosher restaurants and cute Judaica stores, there is Kupel's Bakery, home of the greatest rugelah you will ever have. They even use tofutti in many of their baked items to avoid dairy (to keep it kosher) which is pretty neat. They open around 6am, so come early and get a warm treat or a bagel with tofutti cream cheese!

I live nearby and I am very into natural foods, so I was excited to see O'naturals. The place is neat looking, so I figured the food would also be good. I went a few months ago and I ordered asian style noodles. The noodles were drenched in this sour, bitter sauce that was terrible tasting. I'm not a picky eater, so I was suprised it tasted so bad. I've only been one time, so maybe I just had an unlucky experience. Perhaps I will go back and give them another try.

You can see that everybody love Mike's by the line going out the door on the weekends (and sometimes the weekdays). Everything here tastes great, so you can't go wrong with you get. I normally get an assortment of miniature cookies. My only wish is that they would have already-boxed cookie assortments, so I wouldn't have to ask for a million different types (not fun, especially when its very busy).

Anytime I was in the area, I could help stop in and try a new pastry. This place has some of the best tasting asian baked goods I've ever had. The peanut butter bun and the coconut bun were some of my favorites. After eating one it was never enough! I recommend buying a few, in case you run into the same problem! The staff is friendly and the pastries are very cheap! I recommend bringing cash, since they don't take credit card.

Sillari is the realty company that owns our apartment and it has been an interesting ride since we moved in. The realtor told us that Sillari would replace the carpets, put in new appliances, and paint the place before we moved in, and so the rent price of the apartment was raised accordingly. We move in and nothing has been replaced, in fact, the carpets stunk. Sillari refused to lower our rent to compensate for their lack of work, but the realty company came through and refunded us our money. When we first moved in we also complained about our refrigerator since it seemed to be leaking. When their repair guy came out, he said that it needed new insulation and never came back again. Oddly, our electric bills kept getting higher and higher until we discovered that it was the shoddy refrigerator that was causing this. We got in touch with Sillari and they promptly gave us a new refirigerator--the fact that it was prompt suggests they knew we had the upper hand, but in the end, trying to get back the money we lost via electricity bills is just one more battle. In general, this company isn't he worst, but be wary of them!

I used to walk by this salon many times along Mass Ave and wonder what it was like. I finally decided to try it last fall and get a hair cut there. The lady who cut my hair was very nice, but she didn't cut it the way I had described. The salon is nice looking on the inside, but it has nothing to do with the Jetsons or anything space-like, which I found strange. Not a terrible place, just not a very good haircut. Perhaps it was just the stylist.

As we all know it isn't easy to rate a salon since not every stylist is the same. I went to salon luna after reading both bad and good reviews, but decided I'd give it a try. Everyone there is very nice and the location is very convenient, but the haircut I received was less than perfect. I actually actually ended up coming back the next day to get more trimmed off the back and they were very nice about it. After coming back the second time, my hair look a lot better (a bit uneven in the back), but for $50, I expect more.

I joined the blogging world a few months ago when I signed up for a xanga account. It's a decent site with decent capabilities. My only complaints are that it's not easy to meet others on xanga. It would be interesting if it had more advanced searching capabilities to meet other xanga members. Other than that, it's a pretty simple, cut-and dry blog site.
