DO NOT STAY HERE! 9/26/2011

This motel was the absolute worst! We paid $89/night before taxes--wayyy over priced for what this motel offers. Upon entering the room, it had an odor of stuffy, unopened grossness. In the morning, upon exiting the room around 9 am we were asked if we wanted our room cleaned and that it would have to be at that moment. After telling the staff that we did not want coffee to be made for us in the morning (breakfast was not offered), we were woken up at 8:30 am by a call saying that coffee was ready. The room remained completely lit the whole night because the curtains on the windows facing the parking lot/hallway allowed a ton of light to pass through. On the back wall, a similar curtain could not be shut at all because it would have hung over the air conditioning unit, blocking the air (the window was located directly above the unit and the curtains were long and would have fallen completely over the unit). The unit itself was super noisy. The room was poorly lit, in terms of lighting from lamps in the room/bathroom. After many sleepless nights and waking super early to the sun streaming in our room (and having to ask to have our room cleaned and having been woken up by an early call), we were 10 mins. late checking out (check out time is 10 am, which seems to me to be on the early side). The owner forced his way into the room as we were loading our stuff from the room to the car and began taking the sheets off the bed and continually asking us to leave!!!!!!! We pulled out of the motel at exactly 10:15am......the service/accommodations/interaction with the staff was horrific and I will NEVER stay here again, or recommend it to any one! Try other area places to stay and leave this as your last resort (being that over special weekends/dates this may be the only place available....so book early!) more
