The view is good especially if you have a window faces the university's quad. Quad is a very beautiful place all year long. The union is at the center of the university so it is very convenient to find food, walk around, etc. I am not sure about parking though. You may get free parking, I guess. The inside of union is a beautiful place. Feel free to walk around and explore those rooms. Each room has its own design and students like to turn them into their study room. Free wireless internet available in some rooms.
