We had a very negative experience with Sunlight Fine Rug Care. A very friendly man came to give us an estimate for carpet work, but he turned out to be totally dishonest. He gave us a very reasonable estimate, which was lower than other estimates. So we hired him. He then proceeded to do much more work than required and charged us much, much more than he had promised. The guy was a total wheeler-dealer. Don't fall for the nice guy routine! Use another company. more

the best Oriental rug cleaners 8/24/2011

i had two antique Oriental hand made rugs, that needed a very thrall cleaning, after a moth damage, i called Sunlight fine rug care, the owner Haim, was supper nice and pleasant to deal with, after a very close examine he showed me the damages on the fringe's and on the bindings, as well as halls that needed to be re-weaved again. The rugs came back like new but also looking authentic as an Oriental rug should look, they did an authentic color restoration on them, so to conclude; great service, easy to deal with, no hassle, and phenomenal results.i highly recommend! i called sunlightfinerugcare to clean an oriental rug i had stored for a long time in my NYC apartment . the technician came within an hour picked it up and returned it after 2 weeks as brand new . price was affordable and the service was very easy going no hussle whats so ever . very recomended !!! cheers , dan.j more

i called this company and schedule an appointment for my rugs picked up, the guy that show up explain me all about the rugs cleaning process, i was happy to now that i'm dealing with a professional company- my rugs back within 10 days fresh and clean like new. thank you sunlight you are the best around Pros: good price and exellent service more

Sunlight truly offers great service. I had an upholstered tufted headboard that needed a good cleaning and, after being disappointed by other local businesses, I decided to give Sunlight a try. So glad I did! They did a fantastic job and the headboard looks like new. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable, and the owner professional and polite. Highly, highly recommended! i decided to use my grandmother's old oriental rug after years its has been not taken care of . the rug looked like an accident i called the sunlightfinerugcare they came the same day , picked it up and return it after 10 days like a new!! unbelievable job! and did i mentioned free pickup&delivery? these guys are great ., very professional and polite. recommends for the best ! I had a party, and it is destroyed my carpets, I called sunlight and they came in -- cleaned and made my carpet (honestly) look better than before! I now plan to use them twice a year -- just to keep my carpets clean! Thank you!! Pros: very reliable, get the job done -- and right! more
