I've been in Dr. Platt's care for 15 years. I am a teacher in NYC Board of Ed. \r Dr. Platt treated my with a less invasive antibiotic for a gum condition, and was able to clear it up completely within 6 months. Since then I have been getting regular dental care. My teeth are in the best condition of my life....and I am in my mid 50's.\r He's very thorough and well schooled on the latest in dental treatment.\r His staff is friendly too.\r They take UFT insurance, but for crowns and other procedures you will pay a bit extra. But it's reasonable and well worth it for a clean bill of health. more

Best Dentist in the Park Slope/Prospect Heights area! 6/8/2010

I went to Dr. Platt for a cleaning and a teeth whitening. He was the best dentist I have ever gone to. Not only was he thorough and gentle, I was completely relaxed. Normally I am tense at the dentist office but not after going to Dr. Platt. Pros: Very Gentle, Great staff, excellent demeanor. more
