Great Wall Kitchen

I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now and noticed that the quality of my food has deteriorated badly. My fried shrimp was over cooked and burned and the toasted roll was nothing to write home about either.I pick up the order to go take it home to find how disappointing this has been and to find that they did not add napkins or utensils. My sauce spilled inside the bag they must not have sealed the top cover. I felt like I waited a long time on line there were three people only in front of me and it took the staff almost 30 min to get to me sorry this store got worse will half to go somewhere else. more

I walked in here with some friends tried to order rice soup to go, what do I see a few mice running around and a roach we walked out right away need I say more Harrowing experience. more

I have noticed after getting an order to go today alot has not changed in great wall. I also remember when the health dept shut them down for a few days and got the c grade afterwards until they were reinspected months later. There are still some roaches crawling around in there. I still see garbage underneath the tables. I don't see any likelihood of this store changing any time soon so I will start going to one of the Montague st locations for Chinese food. more

This is the fifth and last tme I will eat in this place. The restaurant has good food but does not keep the place clean. The workers never sweep under the tables, sometimes there is a bad smell that comes from the kitchen. I hate to say it but nice people with a smile dont always make a business. I use to get a delivery once in a while from them but if you cant eat inside once in a while then it becomes pointless can get delivery from any restaurant in the heights. The worst part is when customers come for an order to go and their is a line its not wise to start to mop the floor because the chemical brings a bad smell. It came as no surprise to me when I saw the health dept sign on their door last week, even though they were only closed a few days. The place was dirty on the inside with garbage under the tables and employees taking out the trash while people were eating with holes in the bags. There was a bad odor in the place as well. The staff to be honest are decent people but they cant save this restaurant. I wouldnt even set foot in there with the stuff I saw going on thats why i called for delivery once a month because the rice soup was pretty good. In the winter time they leave windows and doors open which gave me a nasty cold for two days. It always pays to get food delivered instead of going inside some of these places, because there are alot of dirty res in the heights! Pros: decent staff Cons: dirty restaurant more
