Go Karts are FUN !!! 8/21/2005

If you are competitive and like to talk smack with your friends, then challenge them to a go kart race over at Coney Island Go Kart City. Yeah...there's younger kids out there too(must be 15 years old to ride), but that won't stop you from competing against other grown men while you try to humiliate your best buddies. Its a small, circular track, but you can still slide around the turns...and its a heck of a good time. more

Cool Batting Range 8/21/2005

Only $2 for 14 pitches at the Coney Island Batting Range. Its a nice batting range, located outdoors. They have slow pitch and fast pitch for any baseball or softball player. Its perfect for building getting your swing ready for corporate league softball. You can always go for a quick dip in the water if it gets too hot... more

GoCarts Are Fun 8/17/2005

At Coney Island Go cart city, you can have a great time. This not being tied in with astro land. They have one seat go carts and two seat go carts. I have to say its a lot of fun. They have a food stand so you can eat there two. I highly recommend if you are in the Coney island area. more

Good place to drive 8/17/2005

I went to brooklyn to visit a friend and she took me to coney island go kart city. I had a great time there being that I hadn't driven a gokart in a long time and the track there was very fun. Furthermore I had a time doing the other activites offered there such as golfing and the arcade was pretty fun. more

Coney Island 8/5/2005

The batting cages at Coney Island are decent, but I prefer the ones at Chelsea piers. Even though they are more pricey, I like them better because they are indoors (which means air conditioning). Coney Island also has a mini-golf course, but again this pales in comparison to some of the ones you'll see in the suburban areas with the big windmills and other decorations. Still, it's decent for a city mini-golf course. The rides are okay for family, but if you want really chilling rides, you'd have to go to a more bigger theme park, like Six Flags or Disney World. But, if you're looking for some time away from the city, definitely come to Coney Island. It's reachable by public train. more
