Good location and styles very pleasant to work with 5/10/2011

I shopped here a few time for different occasions (everyday, holidays and weddings) and Ave J mens shoes always has something nice for the event i am looking for. The sales staff is very eduacated and interested in making you happy with your purchase. more

Good store, fair prices 3/17/2011

Shopped at this store a couple of times they always have a nice selection to choose from and their prices are very fair compared to the other shoe stores in Brooklyn. The staff is also very helpful, if you do not know exactly what you want to buy they will guide you to what shoe is right for you! more

GREAT STAFF, GREAT PRICES AND AMAZING SELECTION! 3/6/2011

Best service and knowledgable staff! I've always had trouble finding comfortable and stylish shoes because i have a wide foot and flat feet. I walked into Ave J Men's Shoes for the first time and the friendly staff (the guy who helped me was named Sam) sat down with me and showed me the most stylish and most comfortable options available. Not only did he already know i was a wide width, but he also know i would need something for my flat feet! I was amazed! Every shoe i put on was more comfortable then the other! I ended up buying a pair figuring that after a month they would hurt. But no! I wore them for a year and they stayed comfortable. Needless to say it is 10 years later and im still shopping there! more

Over priced shoes 8/15/2005

J men’s shoes are overpriced. I really don’t like shopping there. If service is important to you than shop there but if you care more about price shop elsewhere. The only good part of the store is that they have a clearance section in the back of the store, but the clearance section usually consists of ugly shoes but hey you might get lucky. more

Good selection of Men's Shoes 8/5/2005

If you want a good selection of men's shoes and personal attention from sales person, this is the place to go. The shoes are fairly priced and they hacve almost all the well known brands and latest styles. Once in a while you can also get good bargains on sale priced shoes. Definitely give it a try if you live nearby more
