Something to Love on Haight 11/30/2006

I did not except to find myself clothes shopping on Haight Street...this is not my usual neighborhood for attire. After passing by Ambiance on the way to eat, I couldn't resist popping in after my meal. The clothing is fairly high end (brands you will find at Saks, Neimans and Bergdorfs) and there is almost too much to scroll through without being overwhelmed. Their shoe & accessory collection is fairly affordable (your requisite Steve Madden's and $10 white Elton John sunglasses). The shopgirls are the cutest and friendliest on the block. Can't wait to go back and spend some serious cash there, but until then I will browse on www.ambianceSF.com. more

Clever style at Ambiance 3/4/2006

Ninety percent of women will want to own ninety percent of the clothing, shoes and accessories for sale at Ambiance. This store, with multiple San Francisco locations, features a trendy urban mix of sassy, romantic, sexy and professional clothing. The best thing about Ambiance is that you’re unlikely to find the unique buys in other stores—and thus being worn by other people. more

this store offers very stylish clothing. when you first enter the store, you are greeted by a salesperson that will help you find what you are looking for if you wish. the store has a variety of clothing and accesories for reasonable prices. The customer service is incredible and the parking is not too much of a hastle. I would recommend this store to anyone I know because it has such nice clothes for pretty reasonable prices. more

Ambiance just may be the best local woman's clothing shop in the city. It's packed to the gills with cute clothes, shoes, and jewelery that you just can't find elsewhere. They have everything from party dresses to plain old tees and jeans. They actually have a few locations, but my favorite is the one on Haight. more

Not Just Frilly Clothes 8/12/2005

I never used to shop here because the window is filled with flowey flower print dresses. I had a friend who always raved about this place, however, I hated her clothes, way to Stevie Nicks. Recently, I checked this place out again and was thrilled. Prices can be a bit high, however, I was seeking that perfect, elusive black dress and I found it. Ambiance offers you the whole look from clothes, to jewelery, to hats and stockings. I don't reccommend you go with "the whole look", however, if you need something a really girly piece, this place is for you. Staff is unremarkable, atmosphere is crowded but cozy more

Trendy Boutique 8/5/2005

This small boutique in the Haight is jam-packed with all the latest styles from the hip designers. Style is definitely funky chic, very San Francisco. Though the store can be a bit crowded, you can find some great deals here. Sale items are located on the 2nd Floor Loft. You'll find brands like Trina Turk, Free People, BCBG. They also have a large selection of accessories. more
