Since being hospitalized with severe steroid refractory ulcerative colitis a total of 30 days over a 7 week period, I would have thought that the doctor would want to spend a little more time and set a follow up appointment with me. Although extremely polite, unlike the staff in the office, he spent all of 5 minutes in the room and said something vaguely about following up with him in 6 months. Currently taking remicade treatments and really need someone who shows a little more interest in what's going on with me. Left me feeling uneasy. No blood work/follow up colonoscopy discussed. Hmmm. Kinda thought you should do blood work on someone who was on remicade? I guess I will search for another GI doc. This was at the Round Rock location. The girls in the office need a vacation or something. Extremely unfriendly. Give a very bad first impression.
