So this is my story. I had a custom band with diamonds made but a friend's jeweler and the ring was very poorly made. I was so angry with the jeweler I initially refused to even take it back to him. After some convincing, I decided to take it back to get it repaired, though the repair was done just as poorly. I set out on a mission to find the best jeweler in Houston to repair the piece. I went to a number of places and every single one told me it was not repairable and I would have to make a new ring. A couple places even told me it was not the real metal I had ordered.
