Hello! I just did a search for Fishs Eddie and found their website. The prices are not as unbelievable as mentioned in the first review. $3 - $4 for a knife. A plate costs around $22. This site does have real cool stuff that I have never seen before, which to me is wonderful, but the prices are not so hot! Does the store possibly have much better deals than their site?

I have been to Stonewood several times for birthday dinners, etc., but have never chosen to go of my own free will. My sisters are say it's great, but for me it was a little too fancy and pricey. I can afford to eat there, but if you have ever read my reviews you know I prefer the hole in the wall places! I don't remember the prices being "burns expensive" or anything, but to spend somewhere around $18-$25 for pork chops was excessive to me. I don't recall being amazed at how great the food is, but is was not so awful that I particularly remember that either. I would say this is a middle of the road kind of place. Not TOO fancy, but you have to dress up some (go in jeans and you will feel out of place). Not TOO expensive, but for the same quality food you can cook yourself at home, to me it was not worth it. I don't refuse to eat there, but don't go out of my way to get back there either.

Firehouse Subs on BBDowns is a nice place to grab lunch! I wouldn't recommend taking a large group there because it is small inside, but the food is good. There are good selections and they offer a wide array of hot sauces, etc. for you to put on as you wish! It is a nice change from SubWay! The staff was neither super outgoing nor unfriendly. They were approachable and helpful when asked a question. I recommend Firehouse as a place to grab some grub!

Las Palmas is one of my top 3 favorites for Latino food in the Bay Area! I would say it is my second favorite after La Teresita! The food here is priced right and delicious! The inside of the restaurant is small, and seating is very limited, but I have never had a wait! The staff is friendly, and has always gone out of the way to make the kids in our groups feel special! As a mom, including the children as a part of the family always wins points for the servers from me (CHA-CHING for tips)! They always get the orders right, even in a large group, and to some extent can make the food to order (not everyone loves peas...). If you don't know it is there or are not looking for it, you will pass it by, which could explain why there is never a long wait! Every time I am in the area, I choose to eat at Las Palmas!

Jimbo's is a real, down home BBQ joint! The ambiance at Jimbo's goes far beyond expectations with Picnic tables as the main seating! The give out free pickles, which are so yummy and the kids love getting their baskets of pickles! The BBQ itself is never disappointing! Always slow cooked to perfection! By the looks of Jimbo's on the outside, you would never guess what a great place this is to eat! Skip the BBQ chains with their dry meats and pre-made sauces! Head over to Jimbo's and you WON'T be disappointed!
I do have to say that I had my engagement part there a couple of months ago, and the server was a little short with us. That made me unhappy, but that is the only time I have had anything bad to say! The prices are great and you can relax there!

I absolutely love the Cheesecake Factory in I.P. The dinners are to die for! Cooked to perfection! A little pricey though. I have always preferred the hole in the wall diners, but the Cheesecake Factory is one chain I am happy to eat at! Oh yes, and I can't forget how awesome the cheesecake is! I was AMAZED by how great it was there all around!

The Brunchery on Hillsborough Ave is wonderful! There is, however, a long wait on the weekends. The staff is wonderful and know me by name! They have watched my daughter grow up and ask about her even when I go in alone! The food is NEVER disappointing! And, even though this will cost more than IHOP, I am more than happy to support this local business! I will go there as long as they are open!

We went on the Starship for my sisters bachelorette party. It was the start of the night....The ship had recently opened. We had a lot of trouble for our small group. The sodas tasted funny because they had to use sulfur water. When asked about it they were very defensive. Our server completely ignored our table (6 ladies in the group, not rowdy, just relaxing). The table next to us had several bottles of wine, thus a big tip for the server, so since we did not get wine we were ignored. I got the fillet, which is a favorite, but it did not taste like a fillet to me...tasted more like the cheap vacuum packed meat labeled "fillet" in the grocery stores. Very chewy. I did like the live band on the top deck. The bartenders up there were great and it was nice to be able to visit with other passengers and dance! That was the only saving grace for our evening. I won't, however, be back there.
