Thanks to its warm staff and inviting atmosphere, Stonehome has been a popular spot in Fort Greene since 2003. Stonehome has an adorable pocket garden, a perfect spot for a late supper created by chef Stacie Lynn. Try the warm marinated shrimp salad ($9) with a flight of rosé wines ($15) and finish your meal with a freshly prepared fruit tart ($6). Owner Rose Hermann’s top picks of wine by the glass are the La Parrina, Ansonica Coasta dell Argentario ’03, from Tuscany ($8) and the Montesole, Aglianico DOC ’01 Sannion, from Campania, Italy ($9). The Ansonica white wine has hints of grapefruit and tastes surprisingly dry. The Aglianico has full mellow notes and is a refreshing Italian red wine.
