We had out wedding invitation done here, and it was a great experience!! We knew we were going to design our own invitation, but we wanted some help with the technical aspect of letterpress printing. We were greeted by the cheerful Melinda, and she immediately pulled out boxes of custom design samples for us to look at. And she used the custom samples to explain to us the different things we can do, and pros and cons of using different printing methods to achieve our design goal. She is very knowledgeable and she understands immediately what we want and gives great suggestions. For example, she suggested us to go with a larger printing company, because they usually have more competitive pricing, and since we are not using the design of the stationer anyway, why pay extra? I should also mention that they carry a lot of great stationers whose designs are very unique and beautiful, including some local brooklyn designers. We sat there for a long time and flipped through a lot of books and got lots of inspirations! We were also very impressed by their turn around time, and reasonable rates. We are extremely happy with the end result!! Thanks Melinda & Meljrie!
Pros: reasonable price, knowledgeable staff, turnaround time
Cons: none

My boyfriend and I went there for New Years Eve and we had a great time! I am at Greenhouse pretty often and I am never disappointed. We had a very energetic waitress! I forgot her name but she was just great! Always checked on us. They had a DJ and the music was good. Maybe too many slow songs for New Years Eve but it was still fun. The prix-fixe menu was affordable! The food was delicious. I loved the stuffed mushrooms!!! We will be back very soon!

People kept telling me of this COOL antique store and I sure was not disappointed! It has the best selection of vintage goodies and stuff for the home. I collect Fire King, Yellow ware and Kitchen stuff and their prices and selection were great. The friend I was with loves vintage jewelry and glass which they had plenty of. The owners have a great eye and bring in new stuff weekly. I know I'll be back as a regular.
Pros: good selection, reasonable prices, comfy place

It never seems to amaze me on how ignorant some of the negative reviews are regarding businesses. Especially reviews on Modern Florist stating that they are too expensive. I have been with this company for over 10 years and they are not at all expensive. In fact they are very reasonable. I firmly believe you pay for what you get, & what you get at this store is the freshest qulality andl long lasting flowers that i have ever seen. .From what I understand they have been servicing Brooklyn since 1912. Being in business that long... you have to be doing something right.I have referred friends and family & they have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work Modern!!!

Berta 67 is a beautiful gift store and household item store located between 67th and 68th street on 18th avenue in bensonhurst. They have a large assortment of precious moment figurines which make great gifts. They also have decor items such as vases and dinnerware. The second floor houses linens and bath items such as towels and shower curtains. Their prices are higher than average and I would buy here only for a nice gift for a friend.

When I need a special gift -- for a wedding, birthday, or other memorable event, I go right to this shop. Under one roof, they have everything you will need -- great, unique gifts that will satisfy any budget. They have all the brands you would expect, and many unique items too. They have items at just about any price range -- from $25 to $2500 -- and you are treated well whether you buy a picture frame or a diamond earring. The last time I was there, they also gave out refreshments.
