You can say I'm a faithful customer of theirs.
Each time I go there I have to show my appreciation by writing a little something, because the guys are great.
Not just one or two people. The entire crew.
Their pleasant, helpful, honest and diligent.

I HAVE BEEN A SATISFIED CUSTOMER FOR OVER 40 YEARS, GOT MY WIDE WHITES FOR MY 65 CADDY BACK IN THE DAY WHEN THE SHOP WAS A SMALL PLACE. BEEN A CUSTOMER SINCE. MARIO IS THE GREATEST, KNOWS ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT THE TIRE BUSINESS, AND MARIO JR IS FOLLOWING RIGHT ALONG IN HIS DADS FOOTSTEPS . I RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.

We were really up front with these guys, telling them that we'd just started our research and wanted to test drive the model we thought suited us. Our sales rep was respectful and answered all of our questions. We didn't even get close to negotiating on price, so we're not sure how they manage that aspect of the transaction. So far so good. We did over-hear some sales conversations that were a bit pushy, but nothing more than you'd expect when negotiating with a car dealer.
Pros: Respectful, attentive
Cons: Mild pressure

At Danken's all you have to do is tell them what your car problem is, and give them the make,model, engine number and they will tell you what you need, they carry a wide selection of auto parts, and if not on hand they get it for you within a couple of hours, they are the neighborhood pro, when it comes to parts right from the ist screw to the last rivet, they know cars like no other other auto part store, they know what they are taking about, from stock to high performance, great guys, so if you ever need parts Danken is the source.

Thi sis a typical Costco. I disagree with the other posts.The lines, while present, move fairly quickly, I have never seen them take more than 9 minutes. Customer service is almost non-existant because that is the Costco way but when I had a need for help they really came through.
The Costco experience differs from typical shopping in many ways. I prefer the Costco way for many reasons including fresh produce blisterpacked so nobody touches it and immediate credit on returns with no problems (policies now have limited time returns on computers, tv's and others). I have seen longer lines at Target, supermarkets and the Gateway BJ'S.
Pros: price, quality, return policy
Cons: lines look long, not that bad

This is a great place to get knick knacks for the house: cheap cleaning supplies or decorative pieces, rugs, slippers, towels, gloves, and a whole bunch of other miscellaneous items. The prices range from $1-$5--very affordable. And the stuff isn't lousy quality either.

I don't understand the previous reviews because I found these guys to be really nice and sweet. I approached the store with trepidation because of the review I saw when I was looking up stores online, and only went there because it was the nearest and I had a slow leak in my tire and didn't want to drive to another store. All three counter reps were nice, fast and competent. And I am glad I purchased road insurance on my tires when I bought them so the replacement didn't cost me. It was really appreciated since I was planning on driving home for Christmas and AAA wouldn't come change my tire (it was on ice, big surprise um it was December). My roommate promised to fix it but bailed on me last minute. I ended up trudging through the snow to get fix a flat and hoping to make it to the store, and hoping it wouldn't cost too much or that I wouldn't ruin the rim. A newcomer to Brooklyn (I moved here a year ago), I experienced the worst of attitudes that day and expected all sorts of drama when I went into the store but like I said they ended up being really nice.
Pros: nice staff, easy parking, service

The Nacmias brothers, Jack and Richie combine a very successful auto service center with a used car operation, and are very successful at both.
Their auto service is a full service center, including computer diagnosing, air conditioning, transmission brake and front end work, heating, and all other aspects of automotive work. They offer flat bed service towing 24 hours a day, and their work is excellent. Jack is generally on the premises supervising his workers and prides himself on 1st class, high quality work. He runs an honest business and they come to him from all over Brooklyn because he can be trusted.
Richie runs the used car business, and they carry very high quality used cars. They go to auctions, they take trade-ins, and all cars they sell are checked over very carefully and come with a guarantee. There is no bait and switch here, and the used car you buy will be in tip top shape, they stand behind them. They are in business very successfully for a number of years, and are two of the good guys in the auto business.
PROS: Honest high quality auto repairs and used car sales
CONS: They are not the cheapest guys around

These guys are excellent. They came to my house to replace my cracked windshield on my car. That’s great service. All of the other auto glass stores I called would not come to my house. But this one did and that’s why I will always refer business their way. The installation took a fast ten minutes. The cost was comparable to other stores however their service was unbeatable. If you have a cracked windshield call these guys!
