Great Fried Chicken - Great Value 3/29/2006

Okay, I have to admit it – I also go to Yum Yum Thai in town for lunch. I really enjoy their sweet and sour fried chicken with their Pad Thai (spicy). This hole in the wall, take out place has a line going out the door almost every work day. Prices start from $2.75 for a “one choice” mini plate and goes up from there. They have lots of healthy vegetable dishes also, from black mushrooms and choi sum, to long beans with ground pork. Of course, from time to time, I enjoy the greasy fried chicken! more

Good Thai Food take out with affordable price 10/9/2005

If you live or work around downtown, i would like to recommend to take out your lunch from Yum Yum Thai on Bishop Street. One of my favorite take-out restaurants in DT. it has different kind of Thai foods to choose from. I like to order "sweet&sour fried chicken" and "bamboo-shoot chicken curry". However, some menus might spicy for some people based on thier preferences. In addition, this place give you a big portion. the price ranges from $3 - $4, which is not bad at all. Actually, I think it's best value compare to other take-out shops around there. Lastly, they also have Thai dessert on the side as well depend on each day. Highly recommend for take-out! Enjoy! more

Yummm! Great food for Great price!! 10/9/2005

You don't know what to eat for lunch today?! Pick up a Thai lunch box from Yum Yum Thai located in the heart of downtown! It's so forgiving for your pocketbook, and yumm...! That wonderful spicy Thai foods smell will give you a boost to your body even when you are feeling down. Though it might be a bit too spicy for Thai beginners....so, try the mild tastes first, then explore the wide range of Thai foods. Oh, and don't forget to have some Thai shaved ice to chill your spicy tongue! :) more

Best value downtown! 8/17/2005

As long as you are not looking for gourmet cuisine you will love this place. We don't even call it by its name, its named after one of our cheap fellow co-workers. You can get a rather tasty, good sized portion for about $3. I would hate to see the preparation of the food :) but I've eaten there a number of times and have always been more than satisfied. more

Yum Yum Thai is one good place to have Thai food. It is located in downtown Honolulu. Daily food menu may be different, so you could try many menus here. They serve you with the huge portions of food when comparing with their prices. Even more, the restaurant also serves Thai desserts and shaved ice. more
