USS Arizona Memorial is one of the tourist attraction that you should go to learn more about the history. If you plan to go there, make sure you go early. if not, you probably have to wait in line or get the ticket in order to see the show and take a boat to see the memorial. I think they open at 7 a.m or 7:30. From my experience, i went there with my family around noon and we had to wait for two hours in order to see the show.
The museum was mildly interesting, the film was very good, the memorial looked just like all the picutures you've ever seen of it.
Admission is Free, Parking is limited.

Cold Stone Creamery offers you a wide range of ice-creams and other kinds of treats like shakes smoothies, sorbet and such. Its own name comes from the idea that they mix the creamy ice cream on an ice cold surface. They use a frozen granite stone.
In front of the counter, you will see a large selection of ice-cream flavors, such as White Chocolate, Strawberry, French Vanilla, Pecan Preline, Chocolate, Coconut, Vanilla Bean, and coffee.

Eggs n' Things was voted no.1 restaurant to visit in an Internet poll in Japan. You can also thier restaurant's name in many many japanese tourist guide books throughout Waikiki. It's always crownded by tourists. people have to wait in-line to get in there. The food are great!. Their pancakes are fluffy served with tropical syrups. They also have sweet-bread french toast, large omelets, strawberry crepes. Usually, their food focuss on all the breakfast and bruch.
Price is reasonable compare to the portion they give you.

Makino Chaya provides you a wide range of japanese food in thier buffet menu. for instance, any kind of donburis, tempura, teriyaki chicken, grilled fish, oden, and many kind of sushi at the sushi bar. you can also order the food from the menu as well (and it's buffet so you can order it as much as you.) they have softshell crab and rib-eye streak in thier menu too. I really like to order softshell crab. if you order softshell crab from other japanese food restaurants, it probably will cost you around $3 -$ 4 per order. but here, you can eat as much as you can... isn't great?
However, you can order from the menu for 2 items at the time. after they bring your order, you can order another 2 items. so, it isn't that bad at all...
The price of the buffet is around $25 for dinner and $20 for lunch. I woul recommend you to go for dinner, they have more selections for the food.
Really Love This Place!!!!

Alan Wong's find dining cusine has been voted for the best find dining restaurant in 2005. Alan Wong's is located on the third floor of an office building on South King Street. i think it's kind of hard to find the restaurant. you have to look at the address, not the sign of restaurant. They offers you a great dining experience with unique dishes using fresh local ingredients.
The cuisine is a fusion of Asian and modern French cuisine. The presentation and quality of the food is very impressive.
I would say Alan Wong's has the best service that i've ever had. Their waiters create a personal atmosphere, whenever they serve your order, they will explain your dishes nicely.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone celebrating a special occasion, anniversary, or birthday.
Wondering about the price?
Their pirce are extremely expensive. Dinner may cost anywhere from $50 to $100 per person, depending on the wine and your entrees.
Last time i went there with my girlfriend and her aunt. it's cost us around $300 (including tips).
Last of all, the reason i said it's overated is that i think i'm expecting more from thier 5-stars rated food. of course, the presentation is unbeatable, but I feel like i can find similar tastes at lower price in other fine dining cuisine restaurants.

Sorabol is one of the biggest Korean restaurants in Hawai'i. it's located on Keeaumoku St. or around Korean town. Sorabol Restaurant has beed voted as the best Korean restaurant in 2004. Their menu offers you a wide range of authentic Korean food and includes English translations.
Their food are excellent. I love thier Kal-bi, Bi Bim bap and kim chee set. you can ask them to refill your kim chee too with no-cost.
If you're hungry after midnight and try to find the place to fill up your stomach, No worry! - go to Sorabol restaurant, they open 24 hours.
After you're full and decide to have a check, the waiter will give you some kind of "cold rice&ginger beverage" to refresh your mouth. it tastes really good, really refreshing.
For the price of food, thier price is higher than any other Korean restaurants, but i think it's worth to pay for thier food.

I really love to shop my clothing at Ross. They have great discount on most of the brand name clothing.
The full name is "Ross Dress for Less" but i always call "Ross". it offers the most incredible bargains. They have a great deal for men's, women's and children's apparel to home accessories. Ross gives you 20 to 60 percent off regular department store prices every day. you can see from the price. it compares the retail's price and Ross' price for you. For example, i got my winter jacket for $50 which used to be $150 before.
In addition, they also have a great deal on kitchen wares, shoes, and suitcases.
If you don't mind to wear something that a bit outdate, but still have a good brane name, Ross is the place for you to shop.
some stores are kind of messy. you have to "kind of" dig in to find what you want.

I used to think that 7-Eleven is everywhere in my home country, However, when i came to Hawaii, now I think ABC stores are my new 7-Eleven.
I definitely agree with many reviewers that ABC Stores are everywhere in Waikiki. They are located almost every block in Waikiki to catch every tourist that walk around Waikiki.
The price is higher than any other mini-marts in Waikiki. Everything is overpriced.
The only thing that has a good deal is
Manoa Lao Machademia Nuts 6 packs for $16.99 which is same price as you can get from other local stores such as Long Drugs.
For tourists, I think ABC Stores is convenience for them to shop. they don't have to get out of Waikiki, they can get all souveniers from ABC Stores. some japanese tourists do not the car, they probably stuck in Waikiki and they think ABC stores have good price for them (compare to Japanese currency).
If you (tourists) have car, i think you should go shop somewhere else such as WalMart, K-mart, Daiei, and Long Drugs... It's a lot cheaper over there.
For locals, I don't think you should shop here! Seriously!
