I took all of my core classes here because it was cheaper than at the University and the credits were transferable so it was all the same. The campus is beautiful with lots of trees an wide open grassy areas. Another plus about going to a community college is that the classes were smaller with less students so I was able to get more attention from the teachers and I feel I was able to do a lot better because of that.
There is a lot of parking but I use to go early so I'm not sure what the afternoon parking is like. The cafeteria was nice with huge floor to ceiling windows. It felt more like a restaurant rather than a cafeteria.

I enjoyed taking classes at UH Manoa. Most of the classes that I enrolled in were in Business so it was very interesting. Most of my classes were held in the School of Travel Industry Management Building which is very beautiful. I got to go on an internship sponsored by the college and it helped me to gain work experience in another country.

HPU always had a good reputation for producing students who have a lot of hands on experience with work in their field of study. The instructors are also active professionals in the fields they teach, therefore, the knowledge they pass on is irreplaceable. HPU probably has the most foreign students compared to the other universities in the state, so it is very diversed and the experience you receive is another plus.

Transpacific Hawaii college is my first school when I came to study in U.S.. At that time, it was so impress to study at Transpacific Hawaii college. Even though the college is not so big like other schools, the environment here is very good for study. They provide most major services as usual college do. There are only 15 people per one class, so it is quite small and effective class.

If you choose the latter, then go to Heald. It is a great place to network since all your classes are with the same group of people but if you're looking to advance in your career in the future, don't bother.
I think Heald is good for those who already have a job and want to further or touch up on certain aspects of their career. OR if you're just looking to get a job right off the bat with minimum college education and then don't want to advance in your career. (But who in fits in this category anyway?)
Heald offers lifetime job placement. You ask how? They email you a list of jobs available every week which I could easily find myself in the Honolulu Advertiser, and WORST - they list the start pay as 9-10/Hr. Are you kidding?! I can get that kind of pay with a high school dipolma.
Heald's credits are also not accepted in most universities, except private colleges like HPU or U of. So you'll have to start over if you want to go to your neighborhood community college.
Make your decisions wisely - think about your future.
