Lived in Hawaii and was there when Alan Wong's opened. It is without a doubt the best of the best. There are so many things that we liked about the restaurant. Its out of the way place, its definitely different, its upstairs in a building that you would not think a restaurant is in. When you make your reservations they take your name and when you are seated the person who seats you and your waiter from then on uses your name. its like you have been coming there forever. The Manager stops by and ask how things are going. There is usually a "special treat" from Alan, maybe its just a juice drink, or a small appetizer, and that is also followed up by a dessert piece of something at the end. The rolls are delicious, finish one, and the roll boy is there again; the water glass is never empty. My favorite is when the person brings you meal and explains everything on it, rather than some places that when someone brings you the plate they have to ask you what you ordered. The waiters don't start as waiters, they start as the bus boys and work their way up, the learn how to be a waiter and all the different kinds of food that are prepared. When you go to AW's you are treated as someone who has been coming for years, even if it is you first trip there. Yes it crowded, most great restaurants are. And the awards won by AW is overwhelming. And the best part is that AW is usually there. There are some restaurants that the owner, top chef are rarely there.
Pros: Top food, top service, top restaurant.
Cons: Hard to get reservations

Down to Earth is located on S. King st. My girlfriend loves to go there. She really likes healthy stuffs. That's why i know this place. Actually, i'm not so into this kind of store, but the good thing is i have a chance to make myself healthier! haa haa haa ^_^
This store sells organic vegetables and bulk foods, wide selection of supplements, herbs, and cosmetic products. Most products are vmade from organic products.
These are examples of what they have in the store.
Cereals, bulk grains and nuts, breads, many varieties of honey, nonalcoholic beer, teas, snacks, environment-friendly paper and household products, and a vegetarian juice and sandwich bar.
For people who love organic products, this is the place you probably know already.
For people like me (not so healthy, like to eat fried stuffs), this is the good place to start!
Be healthy! :p

I love fishers beyond belief. It has awesome prices and they have a nice and large collection without feeling as though you are selling out to wal-mart. I love their scrapbook supplies because all their paper is really cheap and they sell it by the individual sheet or bulk. I also love their pen collection. Watch for sales because sometimes things are really really cheap. I also love the random stuff you can get in there.

My family and I stopped there on the way home from Hanauma Bay. We were not dressed as recommended but they still let us in. The food was delicious. Our server was super nice and even found a toy for our daughter to play with. I recommend the Butterfish. It melts in your mouth!

We love the Hale Koa--- its not "frilly" or "ritzy" - its just right. You can be yourself and enjoy the hotel. The gym is simple and keeps the excercise routine going. The food is good with quick friendy service. We brought our kids and found that the hotel is kid-friendly, which is awesome. The hotel grounds are upkept and the pool is exceptionally clean. The kids need to break every hour for about 10-15 minutes... while they rest - the adults can reamin swimming. Its a great place to stay while your in Hawaii.......
Pros: good price, clean facility, friendly staff
Cons: no late room service

City Mill has improved its overall customer service and product line. I still go there to get my home construction and improvement supplies because they carry a lot of different items so we can customize our project the way we want to. I'd recommend going to City Mill for your home improvement needs, you'll be surprise with all that they have to offer.

Willows offers arguably the best authentic Hawaiian food in Honolulu. Although it is buffet style, the quality of the food is really great. The Kalua Pig, etc. is really good. The location (i.e., not in Waikiki) is also a plus.

Inifiniti of Honolulu is located in Mapunapuna, near the Honolulu International Airport. Interestingly, Infiniti is the one of the few premium auto makers not located on Kapiolani Boulevard, also known as "luxury car row" due to the Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes Benz dealers all in a couple of blocks.
I visited the dealership during a celebration of the launch of its new 2006 M35/M45 sedans. The dealership’s showroom is relatively small, with enough room for about five vehicles. My salesman was very friendly and was eager to demonstrate the many features of the new sedan. I was upfront that I was simply curious and not in the market for a new car, he didn’t care. He just seemed happy to talk about the lineup and the dealership. The lack of pressure was very refreshing.
