Yerba Buena Ice Skating & Bowling Center 3/18/2006

Yerba Buena is my all time favorite ice rink. Located right next to the Sony Metreon, it provides a great atmosphere to hang out with friends at a low cost. Skating usually runs about $10 (ice skate rental included), and the rink is regularly open to the public at least twice daily. The rink itself is well kept, and the ice is cleaned often so that you won't risk skating in a slipperly lake of melted ice. The rink also features a few arcade games, but is primarily a place for enthusiasts and beginners to get on the ice and strut their stuff. Always a fun place to visit and skate at. more

Yerba Buena 10/28/2005

I love ice skating. It's very fun. At Yerba Buena, the atmosphere is nice. The staff who watch over the skater are very kind. Everytime they see someone fall, they will offer them their help. They safely accompany injured people off of the ice. I love skating at Yerba Buena because they play good music, allowing people to have fun and really enjoy the experience. During the summer, alot of day camps and teens go there which makes the rink pretty packed. Thanks to the staff, no one ever gets seriously injured. Yerba Buena Ice Skating Rink is right next to the bowling alley and below Mo's Grill. After you're done skating you can go outside and take your children to the playground. Kids love it. It is located in downtown San Francisco. more

This place has a large ice skating rink making it good for school field trips or your children's birthday parties. Place isn't well lit though and could use more lighting. Also repairs should be done in the bleachers and waiting areas to make it look for attractive. Not much supervision so make sure if you're taking little ones that enough parents are available to supervise. more

This is as nice bowling alley to take the family, go on a school field trip, or host a birthday party. Alley is small with just enough lanes. Place doesn't get overly crowded. Staff enforces rules which patrons much abide by or they will be kicked out. Rules regulation is good so everyone is kept in line. Very friendly staff. more

Yerba Buena Ice Skating 8/20/2005

Yerba Buena Ice Skating is the place to skate and have a blast with friends and family. They put on good music and allow people to enjoy their experience while being there. There is also a bowling area if you do not want to skate. Overall, the prices are decent and it is a place to have fun and enjoy the experience. more

Bowling 8/18/2005

The Yerba Buena Bowling Center is a fun place to go with friends. It's very conveniently located near downtown SF, right across from the ice rink, and within walking distance of the Metreon, and Union Square. The prices are reasonable and if you get hungry you can grab a bite to eat. There's also a parking garage right across the street. more

Fun place to go if bored 8/17/2005

I usually go ice skating around Christmas time, and needless to say the ice rink gets pretty crowded at that time of year. The prices are a bit expensive, but they're not horribly outrageous. It's a big rink and it's cleaner than a few other rinks I've seen. I also like the music they play there. more

Yerba Beuna Ice Skating 8/16/2005

If you love ice skating, you should go to Yerba Beuna's Ice Skating, they feature a large ice skating rink, where friends and family can come to have fun and skate. Although the rink may sometimes be overcrowded, it is still a great place to skate and have a good time. more

Yerba Beuna Bowling Center 8/16/2005

The Yerba Beuna Bowling Center is one of the many places you can go when u visit the Yerba Beuna Center. This bowling center features about 10-15 lanes, and can be a fun time with family and friends. The quality of the balls and lanes are okay, and the price is higher than most bowling centers. more

expensive 8/15/2005

This ice skating rank may be big and at a good location, but not only does it get very crowded on weekends, it's also very expensive. I would much rather go to other ice skating rank than this one. It's too hard to skate when the ice is all scratched and when there are too many people there. more

Crowded 8/9/2005

This ice skating rink gets really crowded and there's hardly any room to skate. The price is a bit too high and it includes admission and shoe rental. It's a great way to have fun, but it really gets annoying when the rink is full of people. The long line at the door also turns me down. Especially when the skating session is starting. more

Fun In Downtown 8/9/2005

This bowling center is very convenient. Although there are not many lanes, the wait is not too long. I had a great time here and they gave me a free game next time I went. The prices were a little high but not out of reach. They have food available and also a mini arcade. The employees were very easy to work with and friendly. more

Ice Skating Center 8/9/2005

Come check out the Yerba Buena Ice Skating Center! It is the place to be with family and friends to have a good time. One fee covers admission and shoes and they clean and smooth the ice pretty often so you will have a smooth skate when you step on the ice. Sometimes, it gets a little bit crowded (especially on weekend nights) so go early to enjoy it more. With less people, you can glide (and fall) a little bit faster than usual. So bring your friends and skate around the rink in downtown San Francisco. more

Yerba Buena Bowling Center 8/9/2005

Come check out this bowling alley right away! It is located in Downtown San Francisco and is right across from the Ice Skating rink, where you can have a good time too! It is relatively new and well kept too. The prices might be pricier than other bowling alleys but bus transportation can take you to the site. Busing it might be better than taking a car too because there isn't much available parking in the area. You can throw birthday parties there but remember to do reservations because the place fills up fast! more

Great place to hang out with friends 8/6/2005

Yerba Buena Bowling Center is a great hangout place. The prices are relatively cheap. You pay $3.50 for a game. Shoe rentals are another three dollars. It is sometimes hard to get a lane to play on. There are very few lanes and the place is sometimes very crowded. You may have to wait for a long time before you can actually bowl. Supposedly Justine Timberlake has played in this bowling alley. more

Too Expensive 7/20/2005

I have been to Yerba Buena a few times before, but I do not like going there because of the outrageous prices! The ice skating center is big, so you have some room to skate. However, it is always crowded, and the hours are not that flexible. I left my stuff with friends on the bench, but it somehow got stolen. I would recommend that you rent a locker to put your stuff in before you go skate. more
