Verrazano Car & Limo Svc

12/13/2010- TERRIBLE! I scheduled a car service for the early AM roundtrip to JFK the evening before. The guy, although cold and rude on the telepone, sounded accomodating. Needless to say, 445am, I am waiting for the guy who assured me of his presence the evening before and he never showed, would not answer the phone and eventually turned his phone off. I left multiple messages while waiting, and the guy ""Mazer"" did not even have the decency to apologize or return a message for not showing. UNRELIABLE, FOR THE SAME PRICE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH BETTER SERVICE AND MORE RELIABILITY! more

11/21/07 - I went to the base and requested a cab. The dispatcher told me that the price of the trip was $18. I agreed as that was the same amount I had paid the week before. I got in the cab and 3 blocks away the cab driver asks me if the dispatcher told me the price. I said, ""yes, it's $18"". The driver told me that I had to get out of the cab because he couldn't take me for that amount. I told him that I wasn't getting out the cab and then he called the dispatcher. The dispatcher told the driver the price was $18 and they started arguing. The driver is cursing the whole ride. He told me that gas prices were up and that he had to give the base 25%. He wanted me to get out of the car blocks from where I told him I was going. At one point, he jerked the car so bad that my packages (my Thanksgiving dinner) fell to the floor of the car. When we finally get to my street, I give him the $18 (obviously I wasn't giving him a tip). When he saw that I didn't include a tip, he cursed at me (and let me tell you he had a real potty mouth).
