Best place to find great deals on sporting goods 8/18/2005

I can't say enough good things about The Sports Basement. They carry all kinds of sports gear at great prices. You're always going to get a good deal on whatever you're buying. They also offer additional discounts for many sports clubs and leagues, not to mention KQED members. While I like their new store (because it's bigger), I have a soft spot for their original location in SOMA. more

Sports Basement is the ideal one-stop shop for most of your sporting needs. Well-stocked with a wide variety of all products, you'll have plenty of options to choose from, no matter what you're looking for. I bought a pair of running shoes, and after running in them for about a week, realized they were giving me blisters. Sports Basement gladly refunded me the entire amount, no questions asked. more

Cheap Cheap! 8/17/2005

With two San Francisco locations, Sports Basement is a fantastic place to go to find performance sports gear at outlet prices. Both stores are absolutely huge, definitely warehouse proportions at nearly 40,000 sq feet or so. They carry tons of overstock, excess inventory, and discontinued items from quality manufacturers so prices are low. This is a great place to find that discontinue pair of running shoes that you love at a low, low price. Bargain bins are located in the back. Just dig to find a great deal. more

all my needs for water sports 8/12/2005

this place is awesome! it has all of my needs for water sports. from life jackets to paddles to camping needs. i shop here for all of my rowing trips and dragon boat needs. the price is just un beatable. i mean, it's not dirt cheap, but it is such a bargain here. PERFECT FIVE OUT FIVE STARS! cheers! more

sports basement has a wide variety of outdoor sports equipment. they have biking, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, climbing all you could ever want. everything is priced on the cheap and they have very easy parking. their service is good and they're always glad to help and give advice if you have any questions that need to be answered. more
