The food is just as good during normal business hours, but something about ordering a pizza at 2:00 a.m. makes it taste mmm mmm good! You just might even run into a long lost friend from your younger days - or a hungry musician - nice people watching while you munch. more

Pizza Luce has great options for those with allergies or food sensitivities. One of few places in the Twin Cities that offers a non-dairy “cheese” topping. Pizza is probably not going to ever be considered health food, but Pizza Luce has such a wide variety of topping options, making it more palatable if you want to eat a somewhat less fatty or meaty pizza. The vegetables have always been fresh and tasty. They also have sandwiches, and other items, and their delivery area is pretty reasonable. “The Luce” is my favorite of the house pizzas—highly recommended! more

The first pizza we got was a traditional pizza and it ws good but I wouldn't say perfect. But then I tried the mashed potatoe pizza and fell in love. Of course it's a low carb diet nightmare and the grease is crazy. And I wasn't crazy about their selection, there didn't seem to be too much that I liked to eat. But if you like Tofu and organic food, this is the place for you. more

So, a friend and I have a tradition now... Pizza Luce's Mashed Potato Pizza & Summit Ale & Minneapolitan Wings, during Happy Hour. Sheer heaven. For the pizza/wing/beer kind of crowd. We've had the same waitress, and sat in the same booth every time we've gone. The service is great. She's attentive, well tattooed, funny & prompt. The beer is cold, and from 5-7 M-F it's 1/2 off. As are the wings. Now I'm a wings kind of girl - and these are great. Meaty, crisp, spicy & saucy. Perfect if you ask me. The Mashed Potato Pizza is wonderful too. Who thought of this? It's heavenly. Like a baked potato on a pizza. It's topped with NO red sauce, just mashed potatoes, broccoli, cheddar cheese, red onions & bacon. With Sour Cream on the side. The atmosphere is downtown fun, brick walls, retro posters, tv's over the bar. Very pubby. Very laidback. The parking is eh. A few meters out front, and the downtown traffic. But overall it's totally worth it, and I will keep going back as long as they're around more

The best pizza ever! Great, fresh ingredients like basil, calamata olives, feta cheese. The sauces are great- red and white. The baked potato pizza is different but tasty. The Bear is great for meat lovers- beef, chicken, Canadian bacon. The best Luce is the original downtown. The waitstaff is funky, knowledgeable and nice. more

I have ate at a ton of pizza places. I've even had pizza in Italy, but this is the best pizza I've ever had. I've never actually been to the restaurant itself, we've always just ordered it for delivery, but I hope to go there soon because I'm craving the pizza. They have a great selection of vegetarian pizzas and entrées, which is hard to come by and the combinations are inventive and great. more

This is the best place for pizza...the service ambience food taste everything is best. Even my kids love to hang out.Even we are planning for the birthday party there. I love the cheesy smell of the restaurant. Ill say its the one place that comes to my mind when i think of pizza..Thanks more

When I think of Twin Cities pizza places, Pizza Luce downtown location is always on the top of the list. The atmosphere, Warehouse District location, variety and just great tasting pizza, always makes it memorable experience. My mouth is watering just typing all of this. The staff is friendly and service is always fast and efficient. Golooney's East Coast Pizza Cafe is one of the key choices for pizza in the Uptown area. It's very casual and it is by far one of the best late night eating spots in the Twin Cities. more

Pizza Luce continues to be my all time favorite Pizza place to go to. They have Organic Pizzas, Soy Cheeses for Vegans, and some of the most creative pizza creations around! The Shrimp topping added to the Athena Pizza is a must! Large succulent Shrimp. Service is always very good, prices are Moderate. 4 locations; 3 in Mpls, 1 in Duluth.
