I really like this little coffee house. The people there are very nice. There are tables and chairs, and sofas to relax on, and computers to use. It is a great place to sit and talk. The frozen hot chocolate is fabulous!

This is a true neighborhood gem. The coffee and pastries are great. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable- great for a meeting or just relaxing. Very conveniently located on 44th & Penn ave North in the Camden neighborhood of Minneapolis. The owner is a very fun and generous man who even plays Father Christmas for the kids in the neighborhood holiday celebration. A great local place to support!

I have been a Caribou Coffee fan since I discovered it! No matter which location you visit - the staff is friendly and very helpful!
Their drinks are great! They offer a wide variety - my current favorite is the campfire mocha! I am sure glad they kept this promotional drink around permantly.
Some locations have a small town feel with pictures of their regulars posted next to a description of their favorite drink.
If you sign up for their e-mail list from their website - you get e-mails about special offers including free drink coupons each time they have a new promo drink!

Pandora’s Cup has the best coffee in Uptown, and the greatest selection too. Organic and fair trade selections are always available. It’s the only place that makes mocha that tastes right to me. They also have a few food items on the menu, as well as dessert and some fruit. Organic and fair trade selections are always available. There is a special on refills. The coffeehouse itself is quite cozy, you’ll want to come back.

I love The Spyhouse, I go there often since I have friends that live nearby. They have a hipster-y feel to the place, the baristas play what music they want and it's always great tunes.
They have all the usual coffeeshop drinks plus a few notable drinks that only they make. I recommend The Spygirl (Coldpress, Espresso mixed with a vanilla shot), several flavors of milkshakes, and the Tokyo Rose (not sure what's in it, but it's delicious). And try the Hummus! It's great!
They have a counter full of different events happening around town which is always worth a look.
There are usually several art students in there being that it is so close to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). Mostly working on projects or on their computers or relaxing.
If you have a laptop with a wireless card, bring it along and take advantage of the free wi-fi.
I love this coffee shop!

Starbucks always has fresh coffee and they are always awesome about catering to my special drink preferences. They always have good suggestions if I am not sure what to try. It is a great location and easy to find--the staff is friendly as well. I love the mint iced mocha--it makes getting a large worthwhile. If you can not make it to this location, try any other location around the Twin Cities, one is always nearby.

This Caribou is my favorite coffee shop in the downtown area. The best part is the people, the employees are friendly and really get to know you... for those that have usual drinks they can just walk in and not say a thing.
Me, I switch between many different drinks... though usually they have mocha (either regular, white, or a "wild" drink).. and all in decaf. Or I will switch it up and have Chai or Tea.
I only wish I did not have to get back to work and could stay in the "lodge-like" decor of the store.
Finally, if you are on their email list you occasionally get emails of good deals or even free drinks.
