I only went to Avatar for 6 sessions and worked with Eric the owner. Other studios I went to actually told me that if I couldn't buy a large package that I was wasting my money and their time. Eric actually listened to me needs and financial constraint and designed a program that met my goals and needs within the 6 session.
Eric spaced my sessions out to last over 5 weeks so I was able to get the most from my investment. The service was wonderful and the training was top notch. Best of all he helped me with plans of things to do outside of his studio. I would recommend Avatar to everyone!
Pros: Knowledge, skill and they actually listen to you!

al Vento is one of my favorite local restuarants. The mother sauce is to die for, the meatballs delicious, and the eggplant parmesean pizza outstanding. The pastas are fresh and perfectly prepared. The patio is lovely and often crowded on a nice summer evening. On one occasion, we were there with a small child and the host was more than happy to accommodate, even offering to make a special mac and cheese or cheese pizza for her. The servers can be a bit spotty, but the food more than makes up for it.
Pros: excellent homeade pasta, great atmosphere, patio

After many visits to Buca de Beppo in Minneapolis and suffering through the long, sometimes miscalcutated, wait times we decided to try eating at the bar. This is the way to go at this place. We have had two different bartenders and we can't decide who we enjoy having serve us more, both are fantastic! More personality in these two than the rest of the staff combined. Food is always what we expect, red sauce done well. Try the Quatro al Forno for the best variety. We will be back often.

This is your basic, small-town meat shop located centrally in downtown Robbinsdale, MN.
My first visit, I decided to try 4 different types of meat; polish sausage, top sirloin, bacon and hamburger. I was very impressed with the quality of each item - I am a very picky meat eater, so that's saying a lot. I received rave reviews on everything I cooked/barbecued, especially the thick cut bacon. I was equally impressed with the excellent customer service. These guys are so friendly and upbeat!
When you walk into the store, it is always busy, but they have 4 or 5 staff members who are very attentive and somehow it feels like you never waited very long. They pack your meat neatly, label it and off you go.
Definitely worth a visit, but beware - you'll keep going back for more!

I've been going to the Chinese restaurant in the same strip mall since I moved to the Twin-Cities 3 years ago, and always wondered about "Truffles and Tortes" each time I passed it. Finally, after a few months I decided on a whim to walk in and see what it was about. I tried, as recommended, the "Concerto", and I kid you not, dessert has never been the same for me. I have been there at least once every few weeks since, and have tried almost everything in the case. The best has to be hands down the raspberry almond torte. Nothing compares to T&T! If it's not from there, it's not dessert!

We have been taking our animals to Dr. Smith for over 20 years. She has always given the same compassionate, non-rushed service that she always has. She knows her animals, has seen a lot of illnesses, etc. and has a wealth of experience. Dr. Smith and her staff are the greatest.

I love this place. The rolls are to die for. The people who work in this small area are always friendly and upbeat. It's nice to see a neighborhood place be successful. My only concern is the parking, especially after a snow fall or in the summer when it so busy. I would suggest moving to a larger location, but that would take away from the small, fun neighborhood feeling. It's nice to fun into someone you know. The people at work beg me to stop in there on my way in.

Well, let me tell you this: Red and white taxi offers an extremely nice service that is affordable by anyone, even people with a low or average income. I had to go to the other side of the city with a bunch of bags and I called this company and asked them if they could arrive at my house at a certain hour the next day. They were on time, even about 10 minutes too early, and I got in the car with my bags after having a small but nice chat with the driver. He drove me to my destination in no time. He helped me with my bags and I gave him a small tip. Great service.
