This is a fun place to see and be seen. You have a great view of Lake Calhoun when you sit outside and it's a fun, casual atmosphere inside. But other than the view, I'm not sure it's the best...
This is a fun place to see and be seen. You have a great view of Lake Calhoun when you sit outside and it's a fun, casual atmosphere inside. But other than the view, I'm not sure it's the best place to eat in town. The menu could be better and the food quality is only okay. In fact, my husband wanted to eat there a few times but I was really hungry so I gave up the view and went somewhere that would really satisfy my hunger. I suggest you try it for yourself, your taste may be different than mine.

I am not usually a fan of group exercise classes or a gym for that matter but since I've joined this Athletic Club, I can't get enough. An indoor pool, outdoor pool with bar, whirlpools, locker rooms, and plenty of equipment, I feel like I could just live there. In fact, there isn't enough time in the day to do everything I want. They have plenty of classes with room in the classes for everyone to attend. It's really a comfortable place to be, not a meat market like some of the other places in town.

We went house searching as soon as we moved to Minneapolis and after two days of finding nothing nice is our price range, we stumbled on this place and it is amazing. Yes, it's an apartment instead of a house but it's luxury at it's best. They truly take care of you and what you need without you having to worry. They even accept dogs! And two of them! The staff is very nice and willing to help with anything you need. Plus you get a membership to the Athletic Club next door. Now, it's not the least expensive place around but add a view of Calhoun Lake with the amazing service, and it's all worth it!

This place was such a find! I was just surfing the net for a spa in Minneapolis, and BOOM, I found a great place!! The interior is funky yet serene and everyone is very friendly. I got a GREAT massage that was very relaxing. My friend got an eyebrow and lash tint and even though we were late to our appointment, they fit us in. The best thing about this place is that each week they send out early week specials for discounts on Monday-Wednesday services. I highly recommend this place.

The first pizza we got was a traditional pizza and it ws good but I wouldn't say perfect. But then I tried the mashed potatoe pizza and fell in love. Of course it's a low carb diet nightmare and the grease is crazy. And I wasn't crazy about their selection, there didn't seem to be too much that I liked to eat. But if you like Tofu and organic food, this is the place for you.

I'm from Texas so I'm very picky about my BBQ. And I spend a lot of time in Memphis so I know about BBQ too. Well, when they first served me my ribs in some transparent sauce stuff I thought no way will I eat this. But I was wrong. The sauce was sweet and very tasty and the ribs couldn't have been cooked better. Truth is though, you can't compare it to Memphis or Texas because it's like comparing oranges to apples. I also liked the decor of the place. I suggest you try it and make up your own mind.

I'm a huge fan of consignment stores and I would give this on a B-. Yes, they only have top designer names and they have plenty of clothes and the clothes are in good shape but they don't seem to have many updated styles. It seems that the clothes they have are older. Now, I've only been there once and perhaps some younger (20-30s) woman came in and bought all the fun clothes. I will go back when I'm in the neighborhood and will drop off some of my clothes.

They do a great job with drycleaning. They get most of the spots out and really take care of your clothes. They are pricey but you pay for the quality of service. I started going there because they have an easy roundbout parking area so you are in and out without worrying about where to park. That helps when you are dropping off on your way to work and picking up on your way back (or vice versa).

We take our clothes to this Queen Anne spot. They do fair priced drycleaning but I wouldn't take anything that has difficult spots to get out. I did take my wedding dress there to get Archived (I forgot the right word) and they did a great job as far as I could tell. I paid about $250 for them to do it and it came back quickly. Parking is a pain during high traffic times.
