Newport Management

The roof of the six story apartment building at 488 Ocean Pkwy was seriously damaged by hurricane Irene back in 2011. Many apartment units were severely affected by leaking ceilings, window casings, etc. The roof was NEVER repaired. Despite numerous tenant complaints, the roof was not repaired. The management co's solution? A ""bandaid"" of re-plastering and re-painting the ceilings of the affected apartments. That's it. They should be (and will be) reported to the Dept. of Housing and the Public Health Dept. because of potential mold issues. more

These people are the worst (im not even sure that I can call them people). So they will charge you the $250 application fee even if they have absolutely no intention of considering you for the apartment you are interested in. Guess what, you will have no legal right to get it back. Then they dont even give the application to the board, instead take it upon themselves to decide if they want you in the building or not. Should any employee or someone associated with them have some interest to get the apartment, they will do everything they can to block you from meeting the board. Heshy and Mordachai Eisenberg will sabotage you in every possible way, totally violating your rights and civil liberties. Be careful and hire a good attorney WITH EXPERIENCED KNOWLEDGE OF CO-OP LAWS... otherwise you will get robbed by these scum! more

I wish there was a way to put a half star for this company. Thieves disguised as the ""righteous."" What is even more sad is that they try to off set truthful reviews of their terrible service with fake user accounts and imaginary compliments from fake clients. Avoid at all costs, because you'll pay double if you don't. more

but Heshy came in as property manager after we dumped our old management company and accomplished things that we were told FOR YEARS could not be done. We were able to refinance our mortgage and replinsh our reserve, as well as lower costs for all shareholders. Seriously, when do you ever hear about a maintenance decrease? We've just had one and were able to roll back two assessments. He's also proactive about saving money, something our former management company did not do. As I said, say what you want about these guys, but they certainly came through for us. more

I had bad experience with Newport Management in Brooklyn and their owners and employees. They are untrusty people and not afraid of G-d to conduct unfair real estate business. They promised to perform renovation once I move into the apartment for rent, but never performed any renovation. I lived for a year in this apartment with crackes and molds. Plus, the lease should be for 2 years, and the owner gave me for one year saying he will correct it, but never corrected. I am in the process of moving out of the building, hoping that G-d will punish them as hard as they deserve. Bad people and G-d will punish them, eventhough I do not belive that they care about G-d. Thats how rich become richer and poor become poorer, perfect example. more

I live in a 400 unit coop building managed by Newport Management and the service they provide is supreme. Mr. Eisenberg and Israel Spira are the most devoted, honorable and righteous individuals I ever dealt with. \r \r In my coop the reserve fund was increased considerably since Newport Management took charge of the finances. You will always find some disgruntled employees or shareholders that are not aware of the material facts and will jump to inacurate conclusions. \r \r Thank you Mr. Eisenberg and Israel Spira for upgrading my building and enforcing all the house rules so that I can enjoy my apartment. \r \r If you're looking for an experienced and loyal management company, I would recommend that you hire Newport Management to represent your investment\r more

Bad attitude, impolite, rude and downright dishonest - if you have to deal with them stitch up your pockets and prepare to be mislead, misinformed and generally ripped off. I am not sure how these people are permitted to do business. They are disorganized, incompetent and lie, lie, lie. Cons: They are the worst of the worst more
