Not the same course as before 12/13/2010

The other bad reviews should be taken down, since they were reviewed as far back as 2002. Back then I would agree with them, but not now. This is a completely different course and one of the best in the city of NY. Definitely the best greens. Real fairways and rough growing with fescue grass, as well as open fairways, make this a true links-style course. It's in great shape now (2011) and keeps getting better. Ignore those other ratings, they are WAY too old and out-dated. more

Marine Park Golf Course 8/19/2005

For an excellent course to hit your golf balls, i highly suggest you check out the marine park golf course. They have pretty good prices and their courses is an archetectual wonder. They are open seven days a week and provide a course that suits both beginners and veterans of the game of golf. They provide carts to those who are in need of them too. They have a very nice pro shop where you can buy all of your golfing equipment and accessories. They even have a really good snack bar to fill your hunger. Their course pro is very helpful and will provide you with lessions that are top notch. more

Worst Golf Course I've ever been to 8/5/2005

I would never ever return to this golf course again. Here is why: The course was filthy. There was bird crap and leaves all over the course. And the place is infested with mosquitoes and all kinds of bugs, so you need to cover yourself up in bug spray before stepping on the course. Also, there weren't many carts available to drive around the course. The staff is very rude too. I didn't find them helpful at all and there are a lot of them. It's hard to have a peaceful day golfing here. You might as well go to Dyker beach. more
