i went in assuming i could get multiple services. they only do the basics. pretty salon but i need a place for one stop services. i took a card and left. Pros: nice decor Cons: not full service more

Lush New York is first rate in terms of service and bang for your buck. This excellent salon rivals NYC salons in terms of customer service and offers low prices for cuts and color. I would highly recommend it give it a try. more

After having a terrible experience at another salon on the same street, I decided to experience Lush and was glad I did. The staff was so friendly and unpretenious. The shampoo girl offered a complimentary neck massage. Louie did a fantastic job and took the time out to show how to correctly blow out my new style. They can count me as a regular. I've gone to a ton of salons in this area, and never before have i experienced such treatment. I am a college student with a tight budget, and i have to say that Lush has incredible prices for the services they deliver. I had emailed the owner using citysearch, and the reply i got was pleasant, and encouraged me to come in. I scheduled an appointment and the receptionist was delightful. Upon my arrival, I as well as my boyfriend who was waiting for me in the lounge area was asked if we need anything, like drinks, and i was taken in ASAP. Helen did a GREAT job on my hair - EXACTLY what i wanted. All of the staff is very friendly, and the place is absolutely beautiful. My haircut was only 50 bucks, and i feel great.
