Ludwig's Drug Store Inc

I am a nationally certified critical care nurse who also happens to be the primary caregiver for my ederly mom. Richard and Jermaine are a Godsend not only are they knowledgeable about medications they actually care about their customers.They make sure that my mom has her refills on time. I never have to worry about my mom running out of her medications. One evening, I was working in the surgical icu and tried to reach my mom because she was alone (her assistant was not in) and her phone was continously busy. My brother was unreacheable ,the neighbor was at work, so I called Ludwig's pharmacy and Jermaine walked over to check on my mom and had her call me. That's what I call a neighborhood pharmacy. I would rather them give their 150% six and a half days a week then give 50% seven days a week. I go to the chain pharmacies for toothpaste. I go to Ludwug's for compassionate,professional care of my mom. more

This is the best pharmacy I have ever gone to. I feel so lucky to live near it. The people who work there actually are friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs--such a far cry from any Duane Reade or CVS I've ever had the misfortune to go to. more

I was living in the area for over a year before I started using the ""neighborhood"" pharmacy-Ludwig's- Since then, I try to avoid all of the bigger stores- Richie, the pharmicist and all of the employees(especially Emanuel) are so friendly and helpful. Prescriptions are filled immediately. If they don't have something -they will order it and have it the next day. Richie is VERY knowledgable and treats every customer with the greatest respect. If they don't know about a medication or vitamin, they will research it. Every time I go in there I see them take care with each person that comes in. The chain stores should learn from this establishment. I just wish it was opened later on Saturday or open on Sunday, but I have learned to adjust my schedule to get the best service! Pros: Pharmicist-Richie, Great service, friendly Cons: not open enough more
