I need to find a pediatrician fast. Dr. Ditchek office came highly recommended by a neighbor. It is a bit of a way for us to travel but their office staff has always been very nice and helpful. As a new mom I am pleased that on the occasions that I have called and been unsure if my son needs to see a doctor they have immediately asked me what time I can be in to see the doctor. Dr. Ditchek is in practice with Dr. Michaels. We usually ask to see her but both doctors are excellent.
The office smells very sweet – My husband asked why and they said they use an air freshener that smells like candy. They have lots of toys and books and a tv in the waiting room and examination rooms. Whenever we have gone they were showing Finding Nemo.
The practice does have limited hours (the last appointment during the week is somewhere between 4 and 5). They are Sabbath observant so the office is closed on Saturdays. On Sunday they have a Physicians Assistant available if necessary. Parking is a huge challenge so be prepared to drive around and around if coming by car.
