A spectacular evening, the way things should be: beyond just dinner, sometimes inspired, an evening to remember. Case in point, a warm chocloate cake that other restaurants should study: a delicate ring rather than a hockey puck blob, crisp outside, molden hot on the inside, flecked in powdered sugar before plating. We took tiny bites so it would last longer. The least expensive wine on the menu was delicious. The staff had lots of character, too much sometimes, very french but also very outgoing, helpful, and cheerful.
