i believe this arcade is overall good if you want to have fun but the prizes are horrible. most of the good prizes are impossible to get because of the extreme number of tickets required. however, if you are just looking to have some fun playing games, then you should go here. more

Riptide Arcade 10/28/2005

Pier 39 has a small arcade that is fun and enjoyable. It used to be bigger, but now only a part of the arcade remains. They have nice games like air hockey, initial D, ddr, and much more. Kids will like this place. If they get tired, they can enjoy the rest of pier 39 more

The Riptide arcade is a fun place to go if you're tired of all the usual tourist shops. There is a pretty good selection of games there, and you're bound to find something you like. It's fun to watch the DDR experts, and I love the skee ball and air hockey. more

Riptide Arcade 8/13/2005

The Riptide Arcade is located right the entrance to Pier 39 on the right side. It is a pretty large arcade store with a large selection of arcade games to choose from. It isn't very crowded either because most people spend their time browsing around the retail shops and just enjoying the views of the bay. There are a lot of tourists but they rarely go into this place. more

Arcade 8/10/2005

Riptide is a great place to have fun and spend your money. The cost to play the arcade games are a lot but you can win prizes depending on the amount of tickets you win. This place isn't really crowded but there are a lot of people on the racing machines. more
