The China Wall Buffet is located in a shopping plaza. This place is really busy and sometimes parking is hard to come by. The place has a good selection of chinese food. The waiters were attentive to our needs and friendly. The place does get really busy though on the weekends or special holidays.

I don't really eat often at the California Pizza Kitchen. I think I've had better pizza but on occassion when I'm in the mood for pizza and they are the closest place then I'll eat there. The one in Emeryville is pretty nice though since it is located in the upper level and you can eat with a view below of all the shoppers walking about.

People know Boudin for their famous breads but they also have a cafe where they sell sandwiches, clam chowder and even pizza. Their sandwiches are excellent and so are their clam chowders. They only have a few cafes in the Bay area so whenever I happen to be near one I make sure I go there and buy my favorites.

The Chick & Coop restaurant is like a hof brau. The place itself isn't attractive. It reminds me of a roadside eatery really. But the reason I gave it a 4 star rating is their roasted chicken. They have the best roasted chicken I know of. Their barbeque sauce is the best. I always order take out and buy two whole chicken with lots of barbeque sauce on the side.

The Pear Street Bistro is a nice restaurant. They have a nice presentation, clean, bright, tables are covered with crisp, white linen. They also give you some bread and oil for dipping while you wait for your meal. The place looks classy and the waiters are nice and friendly. Service is good. The food is just okay to me though, nothing spectacular.

Uncle Chung's restaurant serves really good Chinese food. They are in a small shopping area so parking is sometimes difficult to find. But the service is great, the waiters are very nice and they even serve your food onto your plate when you first get your food. They also have a nice view from a large window if you are seated in the back of the restaurant.

Rickshaw is chinese food to go. It's similar to Panda Express but in a smaller scale. They have pre-cooked food displayed behind a glass partition and you just select which one you want. They only have a couple of tables and chairs there since it's such a small place so most people just drop it and order their food and just go. Their food is pretty good and price is cheap.

Foster's Freeze is a great burger joint to drive by and pick up something to eat. It reminds me of those old burger joints some years back where you drive up and a waitress takes your order and brings it to your car. But this place doesn't have the waitress. There is no seating area, it's really just to pick up your food and go.
