Pete's Egg Nest

When it comes to Pete's, I find it entirely erroneous that four stars even come into consideration. It might be warranted, might, if you have a bad scramble on a super busy weekend; again, might. Even so, the delicious hash browns should make up for the situation entirely. Long story short, being a Pete's Eggnest regular has been one of the greatest joy's of my life. I love the service there as much as i love the menu. Join the crowd, don't miss out. See you there. I rank it up there with the High Spot. Different place, different atmosphere, same deliciousness. more

As with many good b-fast places in Seattle, Pete's can be a long wait. But as others have attested to, it's a good classic breakfast. I've only been there once, but I really enjoyed it. And since it's gotten other great reviews, I'll be sure to visit it again. I like the family atmosphere...an attentive wait staff can make or break the meal and in this case, Pete's gets rave reviews. more

Pete's is what a breakfast place should be--consistently good food with nothing too fancy (you won't find "hand picked forest mushrooms" on the menu) and they provide exceptional service. The fresh squeezed OJ is well worth it. There are photos of customers and family adorning the walls and who can forget the remote controlled spider in the corner... more

if you eat at pete's eggnest in greenwood, you wont regret it! they have one of the best home cooked breakfast menus in seattle! the pancakes are huge! there is fresh squeezed orange juice, and lots of options if you're a vegetarian! the prices can not be beat and the service is wonderful. they make you feel welcome, like you're family! more

Pete's Eggnest makes good breakfast food. This Greek family run joint feels homey and you are warmly welcomed back again and again. The food is good and hearty and unpretentious. Scrambles and skillets can be huge. The coffee keeps flowing. It's a good old fashioned neighborhood place. more

Pete's Egg nest is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in Seattle. I was taken to Pete's Egg Nest last December for an early brunch. The restaurant is small and seating is limited. The menu has the typical breakfast and brunch fare. Upon first glance this restaurant looks like any other greasy spoon breakfast place. I ordered the French toast with a side of bacon. This is where the review gets interesting. The waiter politely asks me "How would you like your bacon cooked". A little confused with a hint of sarcasm I replied "done". He proceeds to explain to me that here at Pete's Egg Nest they cook their bacon six ways. Thats right you read correctly SIX WAYS! I recommend the medium since medium plus is quite crispy. The French toast was 4 thick slices of egg battered goodness and the bacon was out of this world! I look forward to going there again. more
