This is a great neighborhood shop. I wish it was in my neighborhood. I go out of my way to buy espresso for my home machine and always have a shot pulled by one of the talented baristas here.
Pros: Superb craft roasted coffees.
Cons: Too far from my home.

I ordered "my Favorite" pizza at midnight of Friday night, the pizza was so fresh and yummy. Much better than Belltown Pizza. Actually, i called Belltown Pizza first, they refuse to make pizza for me since their kitchen close so early which not match their close time(2pm), i changed to call Padrino's pizza which is my first time. I just loved it. I will stick with it from now on.

The best pastries in town! I have to say that I driving across town for the treats here. Pain au chocolate, ginger biscuit, quiche... everything is delightful, yummy, melt in your mouth great! . Double thumbs up.

This place has a retro feel, and is one of those neighborhood spots where you feel like everyone knows each other. The coffee is great and the food is even better. The breads/scones/cakes are all made daily and they have very unique flavors like polenta raspberry cake or coconut walnut orange bread. I have never eaten anything there that I did not absolutely love. When it is nice outside they open up the roller doors so the entire place gets to enjoy the nice weather.
Pros: Coffee is great and free wifi!

I like their raspberry mocha shakes, though they are addictive. The sweetness and tartness mix and mellow with ice cream to form something complex and potently flavorful, yet not abrasive. In my opinion it's certain death for diabetics, in the manner that a Venus fly trap kills flies. So if you lack willpower, don't try it, and stick to their many fine beverages, prepared by some of the best trained baristas in the country. Their pastries are good, but their coffee is great.

I live in the neighborhood, so I'm a little biased, but I can honestly say that the wi-fi's fantastic (and free), coffee's yummy and the cupcakes are divine (I just had a carrot cake cupcake and raved about it to my wife).
Everyone who I've taken there seems to love it as well -- hope to see you in Madrona soon!
