The people at NE Veterinary are amazing. My dog developed a spine problem several months ago and Dr. Amy Ward did everything she could to help her get better. When she got too ill to walk or stand anymore, Dr. Ward came to my house on a Friday night so she could die in peace at home instead of in the office. When it was all over she, gave me a big hug. How many vets would do that? I highly recommend NE Veterinary and Dr. Ward.

I've been going to Greenlake Animal Hospital for a long time (about 15 years) and I've always had good experiences. It's worth going to see them and since they have multiple veterinarians at the office you have a choice as to who you see. Lately I've been specifically asking for Dr. Mortimer as he has helped in some major cases with our pets and I know he's getting to know their personal histories, which I really like. I take both cats and dogs to see them and have yet to find a reason to do otherwise.

After our cat, E, was diagnosed with kidney disease, our then vet said that nothing could be done about his lack of appetite. We had heard good things about the Cat Clinic, so we went there.\nWe saw Dr. Nemec and we told her E's history. She listened to everything we had to say and the first thing she said was, "We'll get him feeling better and then he'll start eating again." We had lost hope that he would ever feel better, but she was totally matter-of-fact that this would happen.\nAnd it did. She did blood tests and recommended several changes in his care: gave him antacids for acid stomach, adjusted his hydration schedule to make him more comfortable, found foods he liked, treated his anemia, etc.\nE thrived with the attention to detail he got from Dr. Nemec. The year after she took over his care was much better for him than the previous year. He got his appetite back, had more energy, and was more playful.\nWhen Dr. Nemec would take blood for a test, the next morning at 10AM she'd call with the results, and explain any changes we needed to make. This way there was a quick response to changes in his status.\nWhen E had surgery they let us visit him in the ICU. When E needed a procedure (blood sample, urine sample, etc.) they always let us accompany him, if we wanted, while the vet techs worked on him. They knew how to restrain him so he became compliant and not agitated.\nDr. Nemec was always prompt in returning my calls, and the vet techs were also available to answer questions.\nWe felt that E was getting excellent care, and we were, too. Any problems that E had were dealt with promptly and expertly. Dr. Nemec was clear and honest about E's prognosis. When it was near the end she told us.\nIn summary, we had expert, compassionate, patient, and attentive care at the Cat Clinic. All the vet techs are fabulous -- knowledgeable, efficient, and kind.\nA month after E died we adopted another cat. The next day we took her to the Cat Clinic for a complete exam and shots. We trust them completely.

Have been taking my cats here for 14 years. Dr. Anderson is excellent - always takes the time to check everything and follow-up on all of my questions. He has treated my cats for everything from broken bones (he got a specialist in to address the specific fracture) to teeth cleaning. My cat is 16 years old and in perfect health. I do not live in the neighborhood anymore but make the drive back specifically to have Dr. Anderson care for my cat, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The office staff is completely friendly and sympathetic and they always get us back into the exam room promptly, I have never waited or been seen late. Dr. Anderson is equally proficient with both dogs and cats - he has both in his own household. Bottom line - - excellent Vet, highly recommended.

I have gone to Dr. McKim for 30 years or so, and have always found him and his staff to be responsible, caring, and effective. He just referred my sick dog to another clinic, which has diagnosed renal dysplasia. He has cared for nine cats and now two dogs and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to his good care. This includes both routine care and emergency and chronic problems. don't hesitate to take your beloved pets to Dr. McKim. He is conscious of budget where necessary, but also doesn't take short-cuts. He is compassionate and very good with the animals themselves, acknowledging their need for reassurance.

I am so very thankful for Dr. Phillips at Northgate Vet. My cat ate part of a foam ball that I bought at Petco (boo for Petco) and we were forced to take him in for surgery. I was a crying mess the whole time during our initial appointment, and Dr. Phillips was reassuring and calming for me and for Amos (my kitty).
Amos received the very best of care, and I'm happy to report that he's home and recovering quickly.
If you need care for your pet, I will forever sing the praises of Northgate Veterinary Clinic.

We have two cats and have been usng this vet for seven years. The staff is sweet and the vet is good with both cats. The price seems to be affordable, even when the care is emergent.

More
I went to this clinic on a friend's recommendation and was very impressed. My cat had a problem with itchy ears, and the vet (Dr. Windom) did a nice job diagnosing and treating it. (Problem was not earmites.) She also seemed to genuinely care about my cat. And she taught me a bit about the anatomy of the cat ear and was very personable.
This clinic is not a shiny, slick-hospital type of place. It is more a basic, no-frills place, which I actually prefer. The bill was reasonable too. I will definitely be back.
