I enjoy walking around the University Village on a sunny day, and its always fun to stop by the Apple Store to see what's new. I've purchased a few items over the last year, and the friendly geeks at the Genius Bar have helped me a couple of times. Unfortunately, the Apple Store has a very short window for returning defective hardware or software. Be sure to shop on Friday night or Saturday morning and then plan to spend the weekend testing out your new equipment (or software). If something is wrong, run don't walk back to the store to return or exchange your item before the short window for returns is closed.

I do not write bad reviews, but I would say watch out for them. They messed up the rough-in plumbing for our bathroom leading to having to put holes in the drywall to get to the pipes.
Bad, bad bad!

I called and made an appointment 5 days in advance (because I wanted to have the first appointment of the day, instead of having 4 hour appointment window). When I called, customer service person seemed disorganized (bad sign). Then the plumber was no show on the day of appointment . I called Best Plumbing and the receptionist told me that my appointment is the next day (total BS). I ended up calling another plumber and have him fixed the leak.

I've worked with Dave on a series of projects - from a garden fence to a complete home remodel - and found him to be a very skilled designer, able to come up with creative solutions to difficult space and cost constraints. He's easy to work with, doesn't cop a lot of architect attitude, and tells you what he thinks.
If there's one area of concern with Dave, it's that he doesn't always nail down the business details the way he should - items like matching estimates to bills, etc. can get lost in the shuffle. Keep an eye on that and you're sure to be happy with your results.

I love the variety in here! The atmosphere is very inviting and I have been introduced to many new foods here. The service has always been helpful and loves to share their information. Prices are kind of high, though. I think that is to be expected in this area and with the specialty of the items involved.
This place has alot of hard to find and unqiue items in it.

More
When Bob retired some years back, I thought it would be the end of B&D. Everyone needs some sheet metal in their life, and especially on their homes. Whether its copper, aluminum, pre-primed or galvanized steel, your home usually doesn't do without it. In a city full of spendy sheet metal shops, B & D is one exception. They are better for simple flashings and copings than they are for very complicated projects, but this is only general advice. (And you might find that the price you pay for custom work at the higher end shops will encourage you to entrust the work to B&D anyway. And B & D prices are comparable with the big supply houses. Why settle for stock flashing sections and long lines when you can get exactly what you want and need at B & D.

More
I stumbled across Seattle Tilth on a walk through my neighborhood - they run an experimental garden on the grounds of the Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford - and have been a fan ever since. They're an education-oriented non-profit, and offer a wealth of local and national resources for help with planning, creating and maintaining organic gardens. They also organize an excellent heirloom plant sale in early spring (where I typically buy most of my vegetable starts). They're worth supporting through membership, but whether or not you join, they're a great place to start to learn more about how to garden responsibly.

One of the hardest working Demo guys I've ever seen in action. Demolished a large structure, threw it into the back of his truck and drove away. Fair price for the work and I like the other reviewer do not want to know what he did with it.
Somone I know in the same area used him for a job other then demo and had a terrible experience. Will not provide an itemized punch list for materials and time and also has very poor communication skills, wants $ up front, etc.
I would use for Demo however.

I had a not so great time with University Audi and my friends report the same (TT owners as well). I own a 2002 TT Roadster- The car is fun but problematic. My biggest gripe is that Audi NEVER fixed my gripes list (leaky window seal, horn doesn't work, seatbelt tension slams me back into seat on every bump, windshield fluid sprayer) and now the car is out of warranty. They advertised loaner cars but I was only able to get one once or would have had to wait weeks to get car in for service. The people are nice there but they just didn't fix the problems with the vehicle. Instead I take the car to Audi specialists- cheaper and better.
