I ride from home to work every day so I need a bicycle for commuting. I'm glad that I've found this shop for my cycling needs. more

I have been a customer, team member, racer (once) for going on 16 years now! Originally decided to go there because I needed a shop that respected me and didn't give me grief for having to watch how much I spend! Allen is cool, knowledgeable, loyal and true to his word! My most recent trip in for a quick chain replacement and rear drivetrain adjust was simply awesome. I had broken my chain South of town down by Mathis and had to take some links out to get back to my truck. At the same time they were selling three bikes Allen was working with a couple of young ladies from Houston, Joey with a guy that wanted a used road bike and Mom (Ms. Robinson) was selling a mountain bike. Joey immediately took my bike and put it up even though they were obviously busy! I got to sit around and shoot the breeze while all this work was going on and Joey test rode it since I was too wiped to do so. I got to see how my Litespeed Classic looks even when someone else is riding it! Thanks y'all! more

I've dropped in twice over the last few weeks. Bad customer service and overpriced compared to 2 other bike shops I've dealt with + sporting good and dept stores and their bad customer service. This is the only time I have had to complain about a bike shop in my life and I have and always had a lot bicycles I take in to various shops for parts and service over the last 30 or 40 yrs. Recently I purchased two old school Peugeots, which needed plenty of work. I didn't know much about fixing up bikes, so my dad told me to take them down to cycle logic to get their opinion on what needed to be done to them. When I got there Allen and his crew walked be through everything I need to know about bikes. New to SA and moved here for a job. I finally was able to get my mountain bike out of storage and get back into riding. It definitely needed some work on it to get it back into proper riding condition. I did a search online and came across Cycle Logic; the reviews sounded promising so I went in to find that these guys know what they are doing. They didn't give me any BS about how cheap and old my bike was and try to sell me one of their bikes instead. more

I had been searching for a good mountain bike that could pull double duty as a semi road bike and could take some punishment. and after some research and visits to bike shops I decided to go with Cycle Logic. As a former road biker, I had no knowledge of mountain bikes, but the staff took the time to educate me and to measure me to get the right bike for my needs. I was riding at McAllister Park last night when my chain broke. I had to walk/scoot my bike out of the park and to nearest bike shop, Cycle Logic. When I arrived, I found out that I was about an hour too late, and the shop was already closed for the evening. I tried my luck and knocked on the door. Lo and behold, someone was there and was able to fix my chain in less than 5 minutes! Awesome service! Thanks CL! more

Cycle Logic is the BEST bicycle shop with the most knowledgeable staff in San Antonio. I crashed my full suspension mountain bike and Joey got me on the trails again, quick! I?ve been mountain biking for the past 12 years and have been in a lot of bike shops, none as knowledgeable, caring or as experienced as Cycle Logic. They are a rare FIND! more

Shopping at Cycle Logic is an excellent experience every time. Allen and co. are very approachable and will see to it that you leave knowing you got the best deal on a new bike, or an honest opinion, or the best workmanship on repairs, builds, etc. Allen was kind enough to stay after closing to build a new bike for me straight from the box and then give me the opportunity to take it for a spin to get the feel for it, and made seat adjustments accordingly. The 30 minute drive to the other side of town was worth it for me...and I reccommend that no matter where you are driving/riding from....Cycle Logic is worth the trip. You suspect it when you walk in the door and it's verified the moment you speak to anyone inside: these are bike people. They seem to love what they do. I must have spoken with Allen a dozen times before I finally decided to purchase a Cycle Genius Raven recumbent--it never seemed to phase him; always patient, always helpful. That was a couple of months and 700 miles ago. The setup was perfect and they've helped with adjustments a couple of times since then--that's when you learn they really stand behind their products. I emailed Allen one evening and received a reply the next day. I needed to bring my bike in and I live over an hour away so we set up a day that I could bring my bike in for a tune up and I could wait for it. Allen was great to work with - he made me feel like I was the only customer he had and that my bike was the focus of his attention. He made some recommendations and we made a few changes. I was so impressed with Allen and Cycle Logic it is the only bike shop I will use. Other may be bigger, or fancier - but NONE will be better. A few weeks ago I got the idea to take the VIA bus and bike to work. On A Saturday I stopped by this shop recommended to me by a friend and spoke to Katherine. Simply put, Wal-Mart or you, why should I come here? She took the time to explain to me what the store had to offer and how they cater to their clients. At the time I decided to walk away and check out used bikes. I bought a used bike at a pawn shop for $50, but because of her helpfulness I went back to Cycle Logic for some parts. She recognized me, asked me how I did, and when I fessed up that I went to a pawn shop, she told me that she was going to recommend that avenue of thought. She didn't laugh me out of the store, and helped me with tires, tubes, patch kits, etc. By the time I bought what I needed, I could have bought one of their used bikes. A few weeks later while home sick, I went back thinking I wanted to get new rims for a bike that was quite a few years old. I spoke with Allen, told him how I obtained the bike, bought parts from his store, and wanted to replace the rims. No way he said, bring it in, we'll look at it, did you ever hear of truing a wheel? I made one mistake already, I wasn't going to do it again. The bike is currently in the shop being tuned up and Cycle Logic has me for a customer. They are great with their customers, really want you to be part of their family, and have everything you could possibly want in bike supplies, parts, and most of all, advice, without making you feel stupid. I first started riding after losing a 100 pounds and changing my lifestyle. Needless to say, my 40 years of couch potato experience left in great need of advice and education when learning a new sport. Allen has the patience of a saint to answer all my questions and address all my needs as a brand new female rider in a rather male dominated sport. The bike he recommended is a fantastic Marin that has served me well. From the Wildflower ride, MS 150 and the Tour de Gruene, I have put over a thousand miles on it. Being a bit of a klutz and having a 'close encounter' of the worse kind with a SUV, Allen has repaired and serviced the bike many times. It comes back good as new and ready to ride. The prices are fair, and he offers free tune-ups for the life of the bike. A real saver when I ride so many miles. Pros: Great service, fair prices, and very knowledgable Cons: none more

the staff is great. they know what there doing. they allway have or sometime get what I need for my bikes. I have shop with them for a year now and there the 1st place I go too for bikes and bike repairs. Pros: great start for your great bikes more

i found out about cyclogic via google i was lookin @ a khs didn't no much about bikes so i call and spoke to allan and i was treated w/ such warmness and allen taught me bike 101 so i went in and onec again patience and curtiousness of staff no pressure to purchase he had fit me to a bike that i neededfor what i wanted to do i am very please w/staff of cyclelogic and / my Mirin hybrid it is fast/light i will recommed cyclelogic to others. He is not a "pushy salesman", nor does he have the attitude of "I know so much, which is way more than you!" No, not Allen. This was by far the best bike shop Ive been to. They have a very good selection of bikes for mtb, bmx, and road alike- new and used. The staff was very helpful and did not try to talk down to their customers. They also love and show tons of appreciation for the military and gave a great discount.
